Whenever I see markers like these on the roadsides, my heart breaks for the families & loved ones they left behind.

I am not overly thrilled with the new price plan Flickr is offering for 2023. Another 20% increase with nothing new to show for it. It's also a whopping 69.4281% increase since the initial starting fee of $42.49 in 2019.

Nice parking lot architecture with fine lighting just outside our hotel room where we stayed while passing through Bismark, North Dakota.
Its December here, but we got no snow in Vermont which is rather unusual for this time for the year.
A pair of Cooper's Hawks have a nest right in the neighborhood and have been providing great views for passerby's. The size difference between the male and the female is pretty obvious up close, and the male has been bringing food back to the nest a couple of times a day.
The Mighty Fraser River on an absolutely enchanting winter evening.
The sky, water & ice reflections were completely mesmerizing.
As the sun disappeared below the horizon, a most incredible colour display began....a wide range of colours, from warm sunset yellows and oranges, to combinations that included indigo blues, stunning pinks and reds, and for the grand finale the sky glowed in twilight's deepest purples.
People were coming from all directions to witness this surreal winter sky-show.
Ice of all shapes and sizes sailng down the Fraser River from North Eastern British Columbia
The sound of the ice crackling and snapping as it flowed by made for a magical sound.

'Don't be a copy, when you were born an original'
Well, I have been off this cookie shit and out to the real world for sometimes now (super busy) and do you want to know what's it like in the real world? Well, the food and drinks are better, but beyond that, I don't recommend it.
Squirrels are so predictable when it comes to gingerbread house,
They will explore every crevice climb on the roof go to the chimney and look in the hole, I always put some nuts in there,
this year was no exception the nuts from the chimney were gone first,
Took videos as well.
This is the Oceanside Pier in California. When visiting a few weeks ago I was so looking forward to some colourful sunsets. This is pretty much what I got every evening. Warm light and no clouds.
I replaced the original post. Corrected for horizon not straight.
Red sky this morning and the wind was blowing pretty good here, lots of mist rising off the Lake and frozen fingers again! The sky was brewing up some snowfall for us and as promised the snow is coming down right now.
