Light pole and tree on Michigan Ave. Ypsilanti. Not the most fascinating subjects, but I really liked the light on the tree.

Our fancy pants street lights in Blacksburg still have the holiday decorations on them. I assume, then, that they aren't holiday decorations, but seasonal decorations -- i.e. winter.

This is for the USK Weekly Theme... which I normally don't participate in. Shame on me.

Pole Base offers quick installation with precast bases which means you can spend more time admiring the view and less time looking at a construction site. Products shown: Light pole base in Round Rusticated texture

Actually took this from the back seat whizzing through downtown Kansas City, Missouri. I cropped a way a few bushes from the bottom, and it seemed to have a very surreal perspective. It feels to me to be a shot taken from higher because of the clouds. The light pole feels to have the wrong perspective.

This is actually a picture of a lightpole with three round white lights...its the ones they have in the parking lot at Walmart...I only have a lil cheap camera and all that showed up was the white lights....I just played with the colors and this is what I came up with that I liked....the little square to the right is the buggy rack...lol

Steph, I think your house is advertised on one of these poles. They are COVERED in these pieces of paper, and I saw several people actually reading them!

Part of the "I like" series. This style of light poles are all around Chicago. I especially like them, because the curly leaves work perfectly for holding a little plastic treasure chest.

So... After work as I was pulling out of the parking lot this Hawk flew by me. He stopped at this light pole so I pulled over and started taking pics of him. Before I knew it I was surrounded by several RGH Security guards who were frieking out that I was taking pictures on hospital grounds.

The RGH Police would not let me take anymore pics of the Hawk and they made me show them the pics that I did take. I think that they thought I was some terrorist. They even called my License Plate Number in. And I had on my name tag and my uniform. Ugggggggggg.
