The Brazos River flows through the heart of Texas. A focal point for early settlers in the new Republic, the river runs north to south through central Texas to the Gulf of Mexico. Today three dams create reservoirs on the Brazos in order to control floods and generate power on the river. Pictured is the middle of these reservoirs which bears the name of the biggest town on the lake, Granbury. Even though it is the smallest of the Brazos’ reservoirs, it measures over 33 miles long and has a 102 miles of shoreline.

Last shot from my trip to Vancouver Canada. This shot was taken early in the morning before the sun had risen. I found interesting sights all around the city that day.

What a week at Zurich!
Almost 10 planes came from India for a bachelor party. Both 747 of Atlas Air were planned to leave two hours earlier when the light was really perfect.
But unfornately, they were ready after sunset.. i tried my best to make a decent shot with a lovely sunset-sky (hopefully, the lightpoles were already switched on 😜).
Kentucky Steam Heritage Corporation sponsored a photo shoot with their two 1970's diesel locomotives: Louisville & Nashville C30-7 (in Family Lines paint) and Norfolk & Western SD40-2 6162. The two locomotives are posed here at the south end of the KSHC's yard on a mild January night, recreating a scene that could have easily taken place in many locations around the Appalchians in the 1970's. Lighting by Casey Thomason.
This osprey had some fish and was slowly eating it. The light pole was on the coastal highway, between the beach and the reserve. He wasn't at all bothered by the traffic whizzing by.

Downtonwn KC on a very cold and rainy afternoon. I took everyone's advice and got out and did some photography intead of doing some chores around the house. Always good for the soul.
This is the Quality Hill area of downtown KC and with the wet pavement it was very striking to me how beautiful this area really is. Somewhat reminiscent of the Beatles Abbey Road album cover don't you think? Well maybe a little. Maybe its all in my mind.
