Got this photography book authored by John Hedgecoe a few weeks ago. I have been religiously reading the book and then experimenting what I've learned. He talks about emphasizing form and that to achieve the ideal form of an object e.g. fruits, the angle of the light source should be about 45º. I'm still learning these things, so here you go...be the judge.

Took an old photograph from a hike up the Croix De La Cieme near Briancon France and tested some image processing with it. This is the result. I did this:
1. applied a lighting effect
2. added a texture
