Something I made in about 20 minutes, it was pretty fun!

the lighting effect came through the window of a country link train. somewhere near Glouster.

Canon T3, 18-55mm lens, f/7.1, 1/200 sec., ISO-800.

For this digtal photography project, we were to choose a photographer to emulate. i'm a big fan of Pete Harrison's work, and this is how the final project turned out.

Got this photography book authored by John Hedgecoe a few weeks ago. I have been religiously reading the book and then experimenting what I've learned. He talks about emphasizing form and that to achieve the ideal form of an object e.g. fruits, the angle of the light source should be about 45º. I'm still learning these things, so here you go...be the judge.

This was a candle and I was trying out a setting on my new camera.
