I love shooting live stage. The challenge of the lighting, trying to find little details while a performance is happening. There is just something about the ballet slipper. The way it just dips into the light as the dancer prepares to begin her routine.

A harbour wall lined with lamps. I thought this would make a good black and white shot.

NS 276 makes it to Portlock yard in south Norfolk, Virginia with two EMD motors up front. Today 276 blessed us with the 1800 engine specially painted in a yellow bonnet scheme from NS back in 2018. These ACC locomotives are some of my personal favorite and 1800s paint scheme is very striking in a sea of all black and white locomotives.

Lighting up the Mt. Pleasant depot on the old CB&Q main. The NRHS Iowa division had a slide show so you got some people lined up to watch the trains.

Just playing tonight with lighting a reflection -- I used a purple and a brown photo filter in post-processing which really made the fork and its reflection pop.
