On the way home Thanksgiving evening, we spotted this farmhouse, already lit up for the next holiday! The sunset and a tiny sliver of the moon made the scene seem very special, at least to me....
Thank you so much for the awesome pic Bensu!

Apologies to all you togs out there, as you must be getting a little tired of this location.
The thing is, it's been the only venue I've been able to access and I do need to practice :)
I've called it lighting the sky, as that was what it did for a short period. I just love this time of day, especially when you get colour like this.
I think this may be the favorite of late of my recent captures here that focuses on the benches. The light in the sky was really great then.
Happy Bench Monday :))

My first attempt at night time photography proved to be a challenging and exciting one.
We planned to capture the super moon at Steetley Pier and had arrived several hours beforehand, to see which would be a good spot. All set and raring to go. it was slightly hilarious when we discovered the Ephamis wasn't quite right and I then had to quickly relocate.
What I'd read and planned all went out the window but I was pleased with this image I managed to capture. Lovely to meet fellow tog Gary Ward down there :)
Some beautiful mood lighting over the north end of the pond at Thomas Mitchell Park in Eastern Polk County, Iowa just before sunset. Mobile photo.

On the morning of the summer solstice just after sunrise. The sun had already made it`s way above the layer of mist and flooded the area with sunlight so time to make my way back to my car. Well it`s never over until it`s over, the sun was lighting the top of the crops as they swayed in the gathering breeze, the light was warm across the Barley and Wild oats with a tram line to guide the eye to the far hill.

Some fantastic late sunlight on the headland of Jack Scout as I made my way down to the shore near Silverdale.
It had been a wet and windy day and the heavy storm clouds kept rolling in across Morecambe Bay, creating some moody tones. The light around the bad weather was really intense, before I was drenched by a heavy shower. It was worth the soaking just to get scenes like this.
Misrah ir-Repubblika (Republic Square) is the center of the center in Valletta, sandwiched as it is between Grand Master's palace and the cathedral. Caffe Cordina, established in 1837 and at this spot since 1944, is one of the most historic cafes in Europe and is still owned and operated by the same Cordina family. Sadly, I found out about its rich history only after we left Malta.
