I had seen a similar image somewhere and though it was a fantastic Idea - I decomposed the shot to create my own version.
ODC-Edison
This is one of the few light bulbs in the basement shaped like this that I have in my home. I left the cobwebs because it's an old one.
By January 1879, at his laboratory in Menlo Park, New Jersey, Edison had built his first high resistance, incandescent electric light. It worked by passing electricity through a thin platinum filament in the glass vacuum bulb, which delayed the filament from melting.

(Actually just a waterdrop from a winter rain hanging from a strand of poison ivy. But looks like a lightbulb to me so shut up.)

Small light bulb next to me flicked on while I was waiting for a burrito. Snapped on the Momentlens macro and faced the setting sun.
Highspeed photo of a dynamic-still scene where a lightbulb is hit by a dart (the blue "thing") traveling at 1,000 feet per second.
Picture taken with two strobes at 1/30,000 of a second. Strobes were activated using a laser trigger; the dart interrupting the laser caused the strobes to fire.
Unfortunately some highlights on the dummy are overexposed. Oh well.
