Working on my final photography assignment for second-year film course. Was going to shoot in medium-format but there is something wrong with the Mamiya RB67 I borrowed. :(
Another lightbox, this time examining the role of color, on surfaces, transmitting light, and rendered as light upon surfaces. better bigger.
Esta es la última configuración de mi Lightbox con mesa propia. Ya no lo tengo que estar armando cada vez que voy a tomar fotos, así que estaré tomando fotos más seguido y apenas me llegan las figuras.

This is the last set up of light box with its own table. So I won't have to build it anymore when I'm going to take pictures. I will take pictures faster and just when the figures arrive.

Fin de journée après le passage pluvieux.
our huge window sills + 8-foot windows + white curtains create the perfect natural lightbox! i caught simon sun napping on the sill yesterday afternoon + it totally looks like he is in a lightbox!

Here are the 2 dim desk lamps I used to test the setup. I'd recommend getting a couple of those silver dome lamps with daylight bulbs to give brighter, better light.
My initial set up. Each lamp cost $7.99 at Canadian Tire. Each light has a GE "Energy Smart" 26W Daylight Compact Fluorescent bulb (equivalent of 100W each) Obviously, the two lights are not on yet. :) I changed the tripod later and used this one as a stand for the light on the right.
More experiments with the lightbox and im unimpressed, color is hard to get right and there is glare where i don't want it, i think i need to just stick to natural light
I made this so I can take pictures when it's dark outside. Nice, eh?

That lightbox has 5 layers, no space between layers, white 2835 led strip around the perimeter, light blue tissue paper for coloring. Laser-cutted layers. Picture taken from internet img00.deviantart.net/8aad/i/2017/268/5/8/gta__vice_city_i...
After discovering & creating my first paper lightboxes I started to make them with laser cutting. Lightboxes with hand-cutting are good & more nice-looking. But laser cutting is faster & more accurate than my cutting skill. Anyway, laser cutting has its minus. It is fire marks on the edges of the picture's lines. You know it & can't do anything with it
Nowadays I create lightboxes this way - I draw the picture above the original photo in computer program. Than I give it to the people with laser-cutting machine & make the lightbox's frame. Finally comes the assembly and lightbox is completed
