I was loathe to throw away the off cuts from a blade making session so I took a few of the pieces, covered one in blue cellophane and added glitter tinsel to the other clear bit. Neither bit was more than a few inches long so I was working fairly close to the camera in a small room. I attached them with foam to my torches and off I went. Happy with the results considering all the elements were originally destined for the trash.
