Yes, always this monkey dance with authorities and police. Which is why my installations are more and more often performed as performance art, i.e. without prior inquiries and bureaucracy.
But I always have to be patient with pulic releases, otherwise I'll score my own goal.
In Zurich for the 20th anniversary of WIKIPEDIA, I didn't hesitate for long. Searched for and found a property building close to a hotel.
The Google offices for higher management 50 meters behind, I put the birthday-child in the bright light. The icon and the fells in the surf of the last great free portals like us and the web have promiss and presentet at the beginning are the Wikipedia and The Wikimediafoundation.
The police should have to found out the room first, then the hotel reception could have asked for my name. Back at the police station, they would to next have to apply for a search warrant from a judge, and I suspect on Easter Good Friday no judge can be taken out of the family idyll for such gimmicks for lightflairs and shadows.
In any case, I had my peace to work and that's the way it should stay.
Greetings to Google, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and all other data thieves, idea stealers and "man in the midle" attackers.
Long live the free WEB made by people for people, like the Wickipedia that is and will be made by you and me for him and her without financial intentions.
