I've had this idea for a while after meeting some superhero fellow light painters at the PNW meetup where I finally pictured what to make in a micro stencil tunnel scene, toilet roll tube style. No double exposure, all done tabletop. Johnny on the camera while TJ spun wool and Aaron shown down the laser. A blast of a meet up and some epic light painting Collabs - this is my homage to you fellow light addicts.

After having been sat on my backside watching shite TV for the past couple of months I thought it was time to get in the saddle again.

My camera has been glued to its bag and it's dawned on me that I need a project to focus my creative urges. Another 365 is a no no for the time being so a 52 is the logical thing to do.

Fingers crossed I can focus on nailing an idea to a higher standard without having to rush.

Cheers to Mart for pointing me in this direction and fingers crossed I can create some bangers.

Back from the dead.

I had a spare couple of hours this afternoon. I found my soldering iron so I decided to fix my fave torch.

I do quite enjoy bodging stuff back to life and with a little patience, some soldering, hot and super glue the Ryus Edition super torch emitted some fresh rays of light.

I celebrated by doing a phisiogram before watching the footy with the family.

Happy days all round.

Iceworld

Another shot from my Diorama series.

The idea was to do a setup with a visible aurora in the sky. Some DIY iceworld stencil cut.

A77 + Walimex Pro 8mm with several aperture for the lights. Instant Aurora was done with a green & yellow gels mix on a foil dimmed Flash in continuous light mode.

Straight out of cam shot! No Lr or further editing.
