Alki Beach in West Seattle. The noon sun caused intense shadows and contrast. Not usually my favorite kind of light, but in this case it made it very interesting image.

Quelle: Wikipedia

I witnessed morning prayers at Chorten Ningpo Monastery in Bhutan. Lasting an hour, the monks chanted mantras and performed rituals in the prayer hall. This routine purifies their minds, creating a meditation-friendly environment. Chanting and rituals seek blessings from the Buddha and enlightened beings, aiding their spiritual journey. The morning light bathed the hall, providing an enchanting glow for captivating photographs. Light and shadow played together, adding depth to the mystical ambiance - Chorten Ningpo Monastery, Punakha, Bhutan

Wish you all a good and

creative photograpic year

Couldn't resist this one. One of my favourite versions of this beautiful hymn. On a cold day in Fishguard, Pembrokeshire, the rain was pouring down. I took shelter in a little music shop specialising in Welsh music and came out with two CDs, one full of rugby songs. This is one of the tracks.

The photograph was not taken in Wales - but hope you like both picture and music. Have a good weekend, everyone!

“It’s the little things”. I was going through old photos and happened upon this photo I took some years ago. It won’t win any awards but the colors, light and shadows delighted me then and still. 😊 It is the Entry Hall of my wonderfully talented Sister-In-Law.
