Shot with a white tee as the backdrop, available light, post done in Photoshop. A few other shots in this series in my 52 pool.
On a parking lot light post, is used to scare birds from the open parking lot. When birds see the decoy, they may avoid the parking lots are popular for gull get-togethers because the birds are very sociable and the large, lots are good gathering spots.
I’ve been too busy the last couple days to make it out with my camera so I’m grabbing one of the shots from my Europe trip I haven’t shown yet. As lame an excuse as it is, I’m in crunch mode for the SIGGRAPH conference and can’t take the time out to take photos. Hopefully it’ll all be over soon.
Did a little extra editing on this one by adding some extra sun rays. This photo was taken in the Parque Metropolitano (León, México).

This was taken in Omaha on my recent weekend trip. Part of a group of pioneer statues that stretches over several city blocks. depicting the Mormon trail as it moved through the wilderness on its trek westward.
It starts with a wagon train , with several wagons pulled by ox,donkeys and horses, with scouts , pioneers walking with children and babies in tow. One wagon stuck in mud being pushed out of the ruts. , then you come apon a herd of buffalo that has been frightened running here and there, through the corners of buildings , follow their race a couple blocks you come apon a fountain with a flock of wild geese that have been frightened to take flight, they fly through a intersection , some on light posts, one through a corner of a building and ending in this atrium .

All of Long Beach Island have the same zip - 08008 - although individual towns have their own post offices. To the right is the police station; when I was here last, it was the borough hall.
I love the light posts at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden. Especially this one with the red berries. Makes me feel as if I've stepped through the back of the wardrobe!
This is a light post right at the exit of the museum. Kids below 12 didn't pay, so they all glued their 'free-pass' stickers on the post :D
I was at a random stoplight and spotted this awesome shot. I only had a second to capture it though.
I attended a conference held at Lancaster High School in Lancaster, Texas. It was the fanciest high school I have ever seen in my life. Seriously, it looked like a mall. I kept expecting to see a Chick-fil-a.
My first full day walking in Frankfurt took place on a Sunday. The only open businesses were restaurants; most everything else was closed.
