yesterday as the fog lifted.
Today was dull all day, damp but not as cold.
Stay safe, get vaccinated when you can.
This is one from earlier in the year. I needed a bit of colour in my life after a fairly grey day and I thought this fitted the bill nicely.
While i was taking pictures of F16 fighters I found this one. Any airplane seems clumsy against these magnificent animals.

Should we risk heading out or should we just stay home?
It was the first day of our holiday, so there was no choice, we had to head out and risk the conditions. Little did we realise just how bad visibility was once we left the station and started heading up the slopes.
Although the descent was not easy, nor even that much fun, I have never again experienced the light and conditions of that day again. But happily, the fog lifted in the afternoon allowing us to shred the slopes for the rest of the day.

3, 2, 1, lift off. We spotted this Juvenile Red Tailed hawk while driving through Lower Klamath Basin’s auto tour. Immature Red Tails can be readily identified at close range by their yellowish irises. As the bird attains full maturity over the course of 3–4 years, the iris slowly darkens into a reddish-brown hue, which is the adult eye-color. We captured this image just before takeoff. We were so excited to be up close and personal with this beautiful bird of prey.
Yesterday, l decided to go out at sunset and take a few photos .....but, l waited too late to leave the house ...the sun was about to disappear behind the hills ....so ....the 1st thing l had to do was carefully balance the sun on my thumb (as shown in the top photo) and ...very gently ...lift the sun a little higher in the sky ....
This gave me a few more minutes of daylight ...and l was able to get the photos posted below :-))))

These wee birds ignored me completely as far as I could tell, came and dust bathed the new borns in the "slipway" dried mud then took themselves a few minutes for a bit of sun for the adults. This one started looking twitchy so I watched him via the VF and got this. Any closer, I'd have lost focus.

The “line_up“ is a paperwork series I developed since 2010. The “liners” are made out of paper (Din A3/A4),
oil paint and graphite. The theme is the hermetical laws of polarity and movement. There is no ending and no beginning in any direction, just an endless movement. You have the possibility to arrange the papers like you want and that makes it an endless playground for my photo-work and the eyes of the viewers.
