Lisunov Li-2T 03 yellow (construction number 23441605) was stored here for many years and restored by the military flying club FLA-RF. It flew for the first time in 20 years in November 1992 and was still flown when I was at Tushino in 1993. Soon after it received registration RA-01300.
On 26 June 2004 it all ended in a crash after the drunk mechanic had made a mistake with the fuel system. Both engines flamed out after take-off from Myachkovo (Moscow). Four people on board were killed, only one survived.

It is said there is a fairyland beneath the colorful clouds of southern China. A place blessed with fresh air, clear streams, breathtaking snow-capped mountains, and an undisturbed landscape inhabited by a friendly group of people. Life in this fairyland is so peaceful, a fairyland called Lijiang, located at the hub of Tibet, Yunnan and Sichuan provinces.

The River Li originates in the Mao'er Mountains in Xing'an Сounty and flows in the general southern direction through Guilin, Yangshuo and Pingle. In Pingle the Li River merges with two other streams, and continues south as the Gui River, which falls into the Xi Jiang, the western tributary of the Pearl River, in Wuzhou.
The upper course of the River Li is connected by the ancient Lingqu Canal with the Xiang River, which flows north into the Yangtze; this in the past made the Li and Gui Rivers part of a highly important waterway connecting the Yangtze Valley with the Pearl River Delta.
The 437-kilometer course of the Li and Gui Rivers is flanked by green hills. Cormorant fishing is often associated with the Lijiang. Its unusual karst topography hillsides have often been compared to those at Halong Bay, Vietnam. (Wikipedia)

Hendry began her acting career in the 1968 Sidney Poitier film For Love of Ivy. In 1973 she portrayed the Bond girl, Rosie Carver in the James Bond film Live and Let Die. In that film, she became the first African American woman to become romantically involved with 007 (albeit the first African-American Bond girl is considered to be Trina Parks, who appeared in the previous movie, in it she only acted as a nemesis to Bond, rather than as one of Bond's love interests). When the film was first released in South Africa, her love scenes with Roger Moore were cut out because it was prohibited by the Apartheid government.[citation needed] She later starred in several 1970s blaxploitation films, including the 1973 film Black Caesar and its sequel, the 1973 film Hell Up in Harlem. She also portrayed the martial arts expert, Sydney, in Black Belt Jones.
