While traveling on a raised median in order to avoid the treacherous road conditions, Jon gets our first flat of the trip. During the change the flat, Walker and I cross the road to investigate a nearby sign for a bike path only to find it completely weather-beaten and unreadable, drag. Fortunate for us, we encounter another rider who confirms that the beautiful unhindered and graffiti tagged path indeed takes us all the way to the indiana/illinois border. A modest exchange indeed.
Original, unedited image for the letter "I" formed by shoes. Sole of the shoes forms the spine of the letters, with a black background to have contrast.
