The red isn't a perfect match, but I love it when it works with the original Pak pieces

i would have put these up sooner, but I decided to play an extended game of hide and go seek with my memory card. They are all up on Ebay,

Well, I discovered that my sewing chair has magical powers. Everytime I sat down, an 'emergency' would call me away from sewing! So I apologize for the oddness of this posting!

I bought a pattern from the Hello Dolly Boutique on Ebay--the owner takes real-life vintage patterns and makes them into doll-sized patterns. Wasn't 100% certain, but these bodices turned out great!

Put on your red shoes and dance the blues

Let's dance to the song they're playing on the radio

Let's Dance is a song recorded by English singer-songwriter David Bowie, released as the title track of his 1983 album Let's Dance. Written by Bowie and produced by Nile Rodgers of the band Chic, it was released as the lead single from the album in March 1983 and went on to become one of his biggest-selling tracks. It was recorded in late 1982 at the Power Station in Manhattan and was the first song recorded for the album. The end of the song features a guitar solo by blues guitarist Stevie Ray Vaughan. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Let's_Dance_(David_Bowie_song)

Let's sway

While color lights up your face

Let's sway

Sway through the crowd to an empty space...

This is the blue version of "The Let's Dance" dress using vintage fabric. This dress was made for Tinker Tailor in exchange for this Barbie dolll.

Everything is allowed to kill the

monotony of a grey and dull

sunday morning, specially if

it rain cats and dogs :S and

you´re lately feeling so blue :(

So I made a brief trip to France

and I found these gorgeous

dancers and they made me smile :)

They were ready to dance...anybody

has a piece of paper? :P

Games without frontiers.

It´s not a secret that when

people lose their capacity

of playing then begin to die.

P.S. Dear voyeur (presumed dumb) :P

Juegos sin fronteras.

No es ningún secreto

que cuando la gente

pierde su capacidad

de jugar comienza a

morir.

P.D. Querido/a mirón/a (presumiblemente mudo/a),

,muchas gracias por tu indiferencia acerca de mi arte :P

y querido ladrón/a (presumiblemente con más morro que un tapir) :P

Barbie has been chosen to light the Tree in front of town hall. After the parade, she will stand with the mayor and throw the switch that light the holiday tree!

To keep warm, she's wearing her red cape with long black gloves and cute little hat. (there's actually a piece of metal inside it so you can bend the hat to fit any doll)

It started out just as an excuse to use the St. Patrick's Day fabric, but honestly, I just want it to be Spring. I'm so ready for winter to be over!

All are up on Evilbay.

I'm a tad envious of these outfits. I usually wait too long to swap out my summer to winter wardrobe and never get to wear my lightweight fall clothes. These are from Vintage Advance Patterns and turned out pretty good--but their directions are rather involved and oddly complicated

Up on Evilbay

I made these last year, but really too late for the 4th of July. So I made sure to list them early this time.

Absolutely love the fabric! It has reproduction of the signatures from the Declaration of independence in Barbie Scale.

Up on Ebay or my Etsy Store.

Always a classic and doesn't my bubblecut look stunning in it?

For some reason I really want brightly colored candy. Am I the only one?

Up on Evilbay, starting tonight.

OK, a little bit of research and this was originally McCall's 5407 (sorry, Flickr won't let me post the cover) and I have to admit the dresses turned out fantastic!

Total disclosure here, the original pattern called for a side zipper--and the repro did too! I just didn't have the inner strength to do a side zipper, so I modified the pattern to close in the back (one in the front).

Even loving the fabrics--they're meant to coordinate with each other.

Last of a remnant of fabric, so I guess these will truly be one of a kind. I just love the little hat on the girl with a cape!
