Another from the autumn snowstorm we experienced on a recent trip to the Tetons. There's something so very special about snowfall ... especially an unexpected one. It's so exciting to watch the snow change from almost a sleet, to "corn" snow, to a more traditional snowfall, to those amazing large snowflakes falling down to earth. OK, I'll admit, I have a thing for snow (ask me again next year) :-).

However, it's more than the actual snow. It's the sound of silence that comes with it ... the cold wind blowing, the visual of the trees swaying, and as I said ... the "silence" that winter brings. I just love it. Before long, the snow began to stick, on the trees, the landscape, and the wooden fence in the scene. Gosh, I love this place.
