The Great British Rhythm & Blues Festival was started in 1990 by Gary Hood, who programmed it until 2005. After a period of cancellation due to rising costs and the pandemic, Colne Town Council scrapped the event in 2021, intending to replace it with a broader music festival. However, Colne Blues Society formed to preserve the festival, and it was revived in 2022 by the Council. Today, the festival is a major, award-winning event that brings thousands to Colne.
Let start 2025 with some colors, I did this photo of a kingfisher hidden in a bush , and the bird was in a tree with a lot of branches , that's why you can see these branches even in front of him. But doing so I could be close to him : 20m. Sadly no much light under trees at the end of the day.
Commençons 2025 avec un peu de couleurs, j'ai fait cette photo d'un martin-pêcheur caché dans un buisson, et l'oiseau était dans un arbre avec beaucoup de branches, c'est pourquoi on peut voir ces branches même devant lui. Mais ce faisant, j'ai pu être proche de lui : 20 m. Malheureusement, pas beaucoup de lumière sous les arbres en fin de journée.

This is another shot from my last walk. Here, I especially like the bokeh of the ivy on one of the trees, where I also like the blue bokeh bubbles of the sky which I've used to frame the dandelion as good as possible. Since there are two seeds hanging on the bottom of the flower head it seems like the dandelion doesn't want to let them go. Hope you like it!
