Why do these creatures always have to bang at the glass?

Finally... I got my new hard disk and have it all sorted out now (for a while at least) and was able to download the shots from last weekend to my computer. And what can I say. They pretty much suck. This could be because it's been almost a week since I took them and in my twisted mind they had to look better or I am just in a crappy over-worked and stressed mood or they are really all crap...
This is one of the few that I actually do like and that came out alright considering the circumstances of dirty glass and glare.
The Koala (Phascolarctos cinereus) is a thickset arboreal marsupial herbivore native to Australia, and the only extant representative of the family Phascolarctidae.
The Koala is found in coastal regions of eastern and southern Australia, from near Adelaide to the southern part of Cape York Peninsula. Populations also extend for considerable distances inland in regions with enough moisture to support suitable woodlands. The Koalas of South Australia were largely exterminated during the early part of the 20th century, but the state has since been repopulated with Victorian stock. The Koala is not found in Tasmania or Western Australia.
I thought I'd spotted a Male Banded Demoiselle and a Female Beautiful Demoiselle but I'm not so sure now.
Still looking for my first Dragonfly shot of the Summer and out of luck again. These dancing Damselflies will have to do for now.

Daily Shoot - Convey warmth in a photograph today.
The bright sunshine we've had the last few days has turned my hibiscus tree into a monster. Drawn by the light and warmth, it's grown right up to the window, doing its best to break through. Although we've had temperatures above freezing during the day, it'll still be a couple of months before I can safely let this beast out.
I used my macro lens for this shot. I was pleased that I could pick up the detail and texture of the both the leaves and the window screen.

This young lady with her husband and daughter were working very hard on the beach in Kilkee! While the daughter was not too interested in getting rid of her Daddy the lady was working with great enthusiasm! I always felt that that was what would happen to me so I never volunteered:-)

This guy has been flying into my dining room window yesterday afternoon and most of today. Like, deliberately. Here I have the divided window up so the glass is larger, but he began this when the window was down, small panes of glass. I have never seen anything like it. I have finally covered the window with newspaper so he will just stop!
