„You may think they are less trouble than the Nulls, but I can assure you, these ARCs aren’t any less capable or independent than my boys. Don’t be fooled into thinking they’ll obey your every order just like any ordinary trooper does. They were made to think on their own on the battlefield, so tell me one good reason, why they should stop doing it at any other time? Be good to them and they’ll serve you well, mistreat them and they’ll come at your throat even before I do.“
- Sergeant Kal Skirata to Genral Arligan Zey on the matter of obedience in clone troopers

Some ARC concepts I tried out for my 253rd Elite Legion sig-fig. They all were not quite to my taste for the RPG, nonetheless I wanted to show them to you. Feel free to draw inspiration from them for your own sigs, if you like!
Mission 16.1: Destruction of Vandos Prime
[Mission Log 1601; Sergeant Sakana]
„Distance to target 3000, stand by for booster ignition in 3… 2… 1…“ Shab, I hate jetpacks! „Ignition!“ The sudden blast of the boosters halted me mid aid and it felt like being slammed into a wall face first. We had calculated the landing strategy as close to the station's surface as possible to not arouse any suspicion. I dropped the last few meters to the floor, followed by five troopers close behind me. Those 253rd boys seemed to be used to that kind of entrance. Ice cold wind was blazing against my visor as I peered over the edge of the orbital station’s top. There had to be a ladder down somewhere. The platform was a mesh of wires, antennas and array dishes. Slowly the whole squad moved forward. „Watch your steps, there could be…“ Suddenly, there was sharp, high pitched buzzing sound, followed by a scream. Turning around, I saw a trooper, splattered with blood, with what looked like a metal insect on the remains of his chest. Buzz droids! Laying down fire, I stumbled backwards and drew my sword to fight any of these pests near by. The rest of the squad ignited their jetpacks again and started picking the droids off from the air, as more and more of them came climbing up the edge of the platform. We had to get down to the control room, fast, or this would become a chainsaw massacre.

My first build for the 253rd Elite Legion and quite a challenge already. The platform probably got a bit crowded after all, but I think the action comes across well. I hope you like it!
Mission 16.2: Destruction of Vandos Prime
[Mission Log 1602; Sergeant Sakana]
The fight on the landing platform had been a real carnage. Only one of the troopers, I had initially landed with, got on the LAAT with me, which brought us to the surface and dropped us right into battle. War never sleeps and so do we. „You, with me!“ I shouted at him, as we approached the drop off. Whoever was skilled enough to survive what we had just experienced, was more than worthy to fight with in the next battle. When the doors revealed the breathtaking view of a vast glacial plateau, there was not time to waste. The CIS droids and Vandosian soldiers had put up barricades in the frozen desert, each positioned closely to highly explosive crystal formations. They seemed to know we wouldn’t risk to set off a chain reaction and used this knowledge to their advantage. I jumped the last few meters to the ground and started sprinting towards the enemy. The first shots of my DC 17 rained down on a Cold Assault Battledroid. Next thing I knew, it burst into a bright orange explosion. Had I switched to grenade launcher mode by accident? „You can thank me later, Sir!“, I heard, as the trooper from the landing platform dashed forward. He had picked up a rocket launcher form one of our dead comrades. Together we worked our way to a little natural trench, just at the edge of the CIS armory. „The good news, we have reached our main target. The bad news, I am all out of rockets.“, the trooper chimed. He was oddly happy under fire. I checked my stash of DC magazines. „I’m out, too. Not good.“ We crouched down and pressed against the edge of the trench. I could hear droids approaching our position. „What`s your name, trooper?“, I asked. „Koi, Sir!“ „Alright, Koi, I’m going to open a path for you and you grab as much ammo as you can get from those crates over there.“ He nodded. I picked an EMP grenade from my belt. „On my mark. Three, two, one…“

My second entry for the 253rd Elite Legion. This was a rather quick build, but it turned out to be rather nice, I think. I also used some custom stickers on the droid for once. Stay tuned for more 253rd action coming soon (hopefully).
Among the many members of the Rebellion even were some former elite soldiers and mercenaries. Some of the came from the military of their respective home world, which had fallen to the empire, others were former members of Rahm Kota's militia, which fought in the Clone Wars. Together they formed the elite squadron of the Rebel Alliance, tasked with attacks on high value imperial targets or against all odds rescue missions.

Made these for a fig-off against The Bricktor. They are mostly inspired by Rahm Kota's militia seen in The Force Unleashed.
This had to be it. She could sense it. Since she had left her master at the entrance hall, something hab been calling her. Like a damp humming in her ears, a bitter taste on her tongue, an itch in her fingers. She had followed this strange feeling and as she passed hallway after hallway, grave after grave, prison cell after prison cell, it had been getting stronger. Now, it was almost overwhelming. She stood in a long hall and ahead lay a glowing red portal. This had to be the heart of the temple and she knew what lay ahead. The holocron had to be in there and her trial was about to begin. She approached the portal. It was filled with an almost opaque red mist, which was moving and felt almost alive. It pulsated as she came closer and she could hear a strange whispering in her ears. Slowly, but determined, she stepped into it and the world vanished from her sight.

Pushing the boat’s engine to the limit, we reached the Wookie chieftain’s craft just in time. A swarm of smaller crafts had encircled the Trandoshan cruiser and furry Wookies and white armored clones were descending onto the main deck from all sides. Swiftly we joined the boarding party and set foot on the ship. It was our job to keep their forces busy on the main deck and thus distract them from the rescue and tech teams doing their work below deck. „Time to fry some lizards!“ Mag’ro shouted as he loaded his gun. „You know they grow their limbs back, don’t you?“ Koi chimed in. „Does he ever shut up, Sir?“ „Only when he’s dead.“ I replied to Mag’ro’s remark. We spread out, expecting the green lizards to jump at us any time now. But the red blaster fire that met us was coordinated and rhythmic, very unlike the vagabond Trandos. „Seems the got some express parcel from the seps!“ Koi yelled, as he emptied his magazine into the first of the battalion of shiny B1 Battledroids coming our way. „Let’s send them back properly then!“ But that was more difficult than expected. The droids had manned canons along the deck and kept coming no matter how many we took down. „Koi, get to that console and disable the canons!“ I shouted as I shielded my head from raining shrapnel. „On it!“ Koi sprinted to the console closest to our position. „Dikut’la Trando design. Where’s the power switch?“ he muttered as he pushed a bunch of buttons at random. Suddenly a screeching sound could be heard and a dozen metal blinds in the ships hull opened slowly. A cacophony of growls and screams could be heard as hundreds of Wookies in the cages behind them saw sunlight for the first time in weeks. „Not the canons, but it makes for a motivating chant!“ Koi said, as he continued working on the console. But I didn’t even really listen to him. For a moment I was completely occupied by the spectacle that unfolded before me. The Wookies were reaching through the steel bars of their cages and grabbed any droid they could reach. Literally single handedly they tore the metal terrors to pieces. The tides had turned! „Don’t let the Wookies do all the work alone!“ I yelled and started firing again.

A very basic and quick build for mission 18.3. I kinda stole the Wookies behind cages idea from the other great entries submitted thus far. I hope you like it!
Made for the final challenge of VignWeek 2022. The category was to take a recognizable Star Wars scene and recreate it in a Classic Lego Theme.
After the Trolls were defeated, the commerce in Agasûl and the surrounding villages started flourishing again. On the foot of the rock of the dragons grew the most juicy and delicious mitgardian blueberries. And they were so many of them! The people in Agasûl made everything out of the blueberries: blueberry pie, blueberry cake, blueberry ice cream, blueberry juice, and so on. But they still couldn't use all of them so they started to make blueberry liquor with the leftovers. It quickly became a hit. Many people startet their own little blueberry liquor companies. And as you would expect it on the market: Competition improves the products. Everybody strived to make the best blueberry liquor. People even started to put some magical stuff in it - just to make it even tastier. And to sell more of it. Until today, blueberry liquor is known as a typical drink from Agasûl.
Built for the Guilds of Historic Contest and also for the Brickscalibur Fantastic Feast category ;-)

Mr. Copperbottom and the shopkeeper of the magic menagerie spent the whole day trying to get the snake, which Adrain has introduced to them as Herbert, back into the building, let alone its terrarium. To Mr. Copperbottom’s surprise, Mrs. Honeycutt had not scolded her children, but smilingly told him she had seen worse. She had decided though, that one pet was enough for the two of them and that, to avoid any reptile incidents at Hogwarts, an owl would suffice. Until their departure to Hogwarts, Mr. Copperbottom had to visit the Honeycutts another two times, once freeing the house of suddenly sprouting fungus and another time to act as a magical fire man, since the twins somehow had gotten hold of their wands and chaos had ensued. In the end, Mr. Honeycutt decided to take the siblings’ wands with him to work, to keep them well out of their range for the time being. Then finally, the promised day of attending Hogwarts finally came. Mrs. Honeycutt had done her best to get the twins to sleep that night, but at 5 am, nothing could keep them still anymore. They roamed through the house, double and tripple checking their luggage and looking at the time every few seconds, which seemingly refused to go by at a reasonably fast pace. Finally the ringing of the doorbell released the twins from the agony of waiting and together with Mr. Copperbottom, they made their way to King’s Cross station in London. Finally arriving at the station, Mr. Copperbottom led them through the crowd and here and there the twins managed to spot some hints of other wizarding people trying to blend in. Faintly the screams of owls could be heard and every here and there a few people with a rather peculiar mix of clothes could be seen. Finally they arrived at the wall that separated the platforms 9 and 10. „Here we are, go ahead.“ Mr. Copperbottom said, pointing at the wall. Mrs. Honeycutt raised an eyebrow. Maybe she thought this was the time he had finally lost his mind and or the whole thing would turn out to be a giant hoax after all. Mr. Copperbottom noticed and started explaining. „The wall is a pathway. You simply have to walk through it, better run a bit, if you are nervous.“ Mrs. Honeycutt looked at him with an expression which unmistakably read as „I won’t let my children run into a wall!“, but it was too late. Abby and Adrian had already taken command over the luggage trolley and steered to right into the wall. Standing atop the luggage, waving at her mother, Abby vanished into the wall, followed by her brother, who hang on the steering of the trolly. A heartbeat later, nothing of the twins remained and the wall stood as sturdy as before. They had taken their first step closer to Hogwarts!

Before the Clone Wars, there was great political turmoil in the Galactic Republic Senate. Many groups were advocating contrasting positions, ranging from proposals for a socialist welfare state over hardcore conservative world views to completely opening the market for competitive capitalism. One of the most influential of these groups was the Cor-Society. Named after the galactic capital Coruscant, the society consisted of senators, experienced traders and wealthy industrials as well as former officials of several trade associations. Their main goal was to shift attention to opening the market and making Coruscant, which was already a main compound of travel and trade, into the main handling center for goods and thus bringing trade operations into the hands of the Republic government. Of course, this would mean weakening the position of companies like the Banking Clan, Techno Union and Trade Federation, which had demonstrated their enormous power during the blockade of Naboo. Among the leaders of the society were not only senators Kar Ordin and Joyce Caravan, who were known to be not only politically connected but personally associated, but also former military officer and heir to an immense fortune, Haron Deckar and the former Techno Union chairman Lob Menor. While the later two provided immense financial resources and a wide network of useful contacts, the two senators continuously bombarded the senate with questions about how to break the Trade Federation’s monopoly. With the outbreak of the Clone Wars, the society disbanded and most of the members started putting their time and money towards the war effort, hoping to break the Trade Federation’s position by means of violence. While most of them survived the war and continued to work as imperial officials, Lob Menor was assassinated early after the battle of Geonosis, probably as an act of revenge by his former employer, the Techno Union.

A little Star Wars fig-off between @architectureofthebrick and me on Instagram. The topic was senators and wealthy citizens.
While it may seem impossible to most people, there actually was a point in the war between the Sith Empire and the Republic, at which there had almost been a peace treaty. Over the course of the war, both sides had gained and lost territory and millions of soldiers had died for both causes. While there seemed to be an unlimited amount of people to recruit as troops, eventually both sides ran out of force sensitive children to train as either Jedi or Sith. Knowing a lack of force sensitive fighters would mean certain defeat, both sides decided to initiate negotiations for peace, or at least an armistice almost simultaneously. Ambassadors of both sides, Jedi and Sith, met on Xolani-Station, which was orbiting the neutral planet of Kireina. Even though the negotiations came forth slowly, eventually a treaty was formulated, which would grant both sides their respective territories and a save retreat for any troops stuck behind enemy lines. Of course, the whole idea of peace didn’t go without criticism by the public and many suspected the Sith would only use it as a decoy for another attack. Yet, in the end it was not the Sith, but the Jedi that broke the contract and deceived their opponent. When let alone to discuss the final wording of the contract, Jedi Master Jarc Konden suddenly turned on Sith Lady Crucia, taking her by surprise and striking her down in anger. He later claimed that the Sith had attacked him first. Of course his fellow Jedi trusted his word and considered the Sith to be evil in general. The remaining Sith on the station were taken by surprise and even though they fought bravely, none of them survived the onslaught. By his return to Coruscant Konden was celebrated as a hero for seeing through the lies of the Sith and ending the Xolani crisis. The truth was only discovered when former smuggler and republic pilot Jarina Solem spoke out against him, while being questioned about her role in the crisis in court. Being Kondens personal pilot, she had been waiting outside the conference room, but left her post out of curiosity. This resulted in her having eavesdropped on the conversation between the Sith and the Jedi and she could relay the conversation and ensuing fight in detail to the court. The judges believed her and while she was sent to prison for violation of military security, Master Konden was accused of treason. The republic court and the Jedi conducted the trial together, resulting in Konden being expelled from the order and sentenced for life for murder in over 200 cases, treason against the republic and, for the first time in the history of the court, for crimes against the Sith Empire.

Here’s my entry for the first round of the fig-off-tournament over at @figbarfcentral. My opponent was @codyaner_bricks and the topic for this round was Star Wars The Old Republic. It took me quite a while to come up with satisfying figures for this theme, but it was a lot of fun. Also, the background gave me a nice excuse for building a micro Hammerhead-frigate.
In the turmoil of the Great Galactic War there were several branches of the Sith Empire, each with their own leaders. One of these branches was led by Darth Mavus and his apprentice Darth Koroge. The two of them were unlikely allies. Darth Mavus, strong in the force and a devoted scholar of the ancient Sith mysteries, pulled the strings behind their war efforts. Utilizing his meditation techniques, sacrifices and rituals as well as his knowledge of ancient languages and holorcrons, he identified targets, strategies and allies. While well educated in the more delicate matters of the force, he was far less proficient in physical combat, a task he rather left to his apprentice, Darth Koroge. Koroge, born into nobility and a very charismatic personality, had killed his parents in his lust for power at the age of 13. Admittedly being too old for thorough training in the spiritual aspects of the force, Mavus saw his aggression as a potential to forge the perfect warrior. Koroge went on to be known for his cruelty and sadistic tendencies even within the Sith Empire, making the soldiers both, fear and admire him. Overcoming their individual weaknesses together, the two of them and their small, but efficient armada of Sith soldiers conquered countless worlds and killed dozen of Jedi in the process. It was only when Koroge turned on his master, that their campaign ended. Being unable to stop his apprentice by physical means, Darth Mavus trapped Koroge in an illusion, just as his blade pierced his body. In this illusion Koroge would be forced to relive his childhood, always standing in his father’s shadow, for eternity, while in reality being unable to move and cowering over his former master’s corpse. Even in death, the two of them cancelled out one another’s strengths and weaknesses.

Two Sith and a soldier for my fig-off against Carbon Builds.
[Mission Log 1603; Sergeant Sakana]
We sprinted down the corridors of the CIS facility. After regrouping with the regiment and filling up our ammo stock, it was now time to blow this ice rock straight to Mustafar. We advanced into the mine shafts beneath the facility. Containers of raw cyber were stacked up against the cave’s walls that had partially formed naturally, partially been cleanly cut by mining droids. The combination of straight and curved forms made me nauseous. „Aim well and shoot first, we don’t want the clankers to hit the kyber!“ I yelled at Koi, as my DC bolts dropped another droid. My comlink beeped and we came to a halt. Sergeant Jester appeared in my hand as a light blue hologram, giving out final orders: Set timer charges to the cyber and get the shab out of here. The connection broke and flickered just a moment longer than usual. Suddenly a vague silhouette appeared, heavily distorted by static. „This is Jedi General Avec… You cannot blow up… kyber…chain reaction… damage to the planet… thousands will die… foundational stilts… compromise… bury the kyber.“ Was this true? Jester or Syphen had not told us anything about a chain reaction. This area with kyber was supposed to be a single concentrated pile, not a network. Yet, we had seen hundreds of crystals in the rocks on the surface. I had the feeling the Jedi might be right. Too many had died today, already, we could not risk it. „Change of plan, Koi. No big bang today, we’re going to bring down the stilts only.“ „Pardon, Sir?“ Koi had just started to unpack his collection of blast charges, which he handled a bit too lovingly for my taste. „So, no fireworks?“ „No, make sure to only set charges on the stilts, I’ll get the kyber out of the blast radius.“ Koi let his head hang in disappointment, but obeyed the order. He used his grappling hook to ascent to the top of the stilt and started carefully applying thermal detonators to it. „All done, Sir.“ „Good, time for evac. Let’s get out of here and light the candle!“

Hi!
Today I want to present you my newest scene.
It shows how sad the fate of the warrior can be. Despite many battles and heroic actions, he was killed on the old and ruined mountain arena, so no one gonna find his old bones there. May he rest in peace now.
Attention all Nova League members,
probably the first unit of these Centuri Special Forces you will encounter is the heavy infantry. They are mostly battle worn veterans, who usually would be instantly recognizable from our data base. However they are masked and thus more difficult to analyze and assign a profile to. They are armed with heavy full automatic blaster rifles including short range projectile shot gun modifications. It is advised to take them out at range, rather than in close quarter fights.

„All troops safely returned and all star fighters out of explosion range.“ Commander Stern stood on the Obligation’s bridge beside General Squai. „Time to light this firework then.“ He turned to the General, who was watching the last star fighters gliding by with a serious frown on his face. „Permission to blow the charges, General?“ „Do what must be done.“ Stern gave the signal and a heartbeat later, the Separatist space station vanished in a golden ball of flames, sparkling with splashes of greens, whites and blues, whenever a fuel cell or reactor core was hit by the expanding blast. It was a marvelous sight, scary and beautiful at the same time. While some of the troops on the Venator’s bridge were gasping in astonishment or excitedly cheering, General Squai was still in deep thought. „Is everything alright, General?“, Stern asked politely. „I wonder… what was the reason for all of this?“ „What do you mean. General?“ „Well, every day we fight the Separatists, everyday both sides loose ships and men. Now, they were on the brink of building an effective weapon that could turn the tides in their favor. And just as they are about to complete it, we get a hint, find it and prevent their victory.“ „I’d say we got lucky this time.“ „Did we? It doesn’t feel like that. We Jedi believe that everything happens for a reason. The ways of the force are hard to read sometimes. This wasn’t the first time we simply had good luck. It happens over and over again for both sides. As if someone, or something doesn’t want this war to end just yet…“ Jedi were no soldiers after all, Stern thought. A soldier knew, what he had to do and saw a lucky coincidence when it happened. „With all due respect, you worry too much, General. I call this a job well done and a chance to win again tomorrow.“ „I suppose so.“ Genial Squai turned away and walked off the bridge, leaving the commander and his men to watch the spectacle of the explosion slowly fading into the starry endlessness.

Chapter 1 - The Gangs of Coruscant
Part 16 - Pushing on
Her chest hurt like fire and a sharp pain was stinging with every step she took forward, but Jona still pushed on. She had followed the Rodian into the tunnels that ran under Galactic City. She had to stay focused, otherwise she would quickly loose the Rodian in this endless maze of transport tunnels, power lines and maintenance shafts. She had crossed a dozen cross sections and at this point didn’t even know the path she had walked. But she sensed the holocron not too far away, so she was still on the right track. She walked down another hallway. The walls were lined with energy converters and she could hear the sizzling sound of electricity running through illegally installed cables, sucking high voltage power off the grid. The only light was coming from her lightsaber and illuminated the scene in a ghostly purple glow. As she pushed on, she could sense something ahead. She was closing in on the Rodian and the holocron. She came to a stop in front of a huge door. This was it. The Rodian was on the other side and it felt like he was not alone. This was Jona’s time to prove herself. She gathered all her remaining strength and pushed aside the pain. They had to know not to mess with Jedi and she would make them learn the hard way! She took a deep breath and opened the door.

Cathlyn had seen several weak security systems, but this one was plain ridiculous. It almost seemed like the Centuri wanted to be attacked. There was literally a single switch that controlled all of the power grid for this facility. And if they were so kind to install something like this, she would certainly use it. Cathlyn had decided that a hunt for her target Jorik Kavas was pointless. She knew Zayne would be just as quick to find him as she would be. That was a risk she couldn’t take. She had to be the first to find Kavas. So, she had decided to make him come to her. The disabling of this facility was certain to attract his attention, so he would leave his hideout and become an easy target. He had always been a man with an urge to control and inspect, thus he would definitely want to check this, admittedly serious, security failure himself. Caitlyn flipped the switch. The room went dark immediately. Then an alarm went off. Caitlyn looked around and was startled by the sight of the doors closing. This shouldn’t be happening. She drew her sword…

My build for Droneuary this year, continuing my idea of mohawked drones! Technically I built this last year but wasn’t able to finish the legs until a few days afterwards (My first two attempts couldn't support the weight properly). Then this month I ended up building a different base for it that’s much better than what I previously had, and finally took pictures of it. This is also my tallest drone/mech overall, at just over 1 foot tall, which made for a different building process for me. Overall I’m really pleased with how it turned out, I love how the dark blue and yellowish green look together, and am super satisfied with the shaping I achieved to make it look slender but menacing. Hope you all enjoy it too!
See some detail shots here.
While some Jedi, like Yoda and Ki-Adi Mundi, did field work and served the order in battle even at advanced age, not all older Jedi saw themselves fit for that task. Many Jedi veterans, no longer wanting to put their lives in danger, took up other roles within the order. While some served as librarians in the temple archives, others dedicated their lives to a deeper study of the force or chose to write down what they had experienced over the course of their active duty. Many also decided to train younglings, the future of the order, in an effort to pass on their wisdom, acquired on their journeys through the galaxy.

So, its my birthday today and what better to upload than another photo of a bunch of old guys. :D
"Welcome everybody to our little party! Today, we celebrate the birthday of a very good friend of mine, the great Mr. Grievous! But you knew that already, I hope…
So, Mr. Grievous, judging by the look on your face, you did not expect this little surprise party. Or maybe you are still wondering why in the world I chose to celebrate your birthday here at the headquarters of my motorcycle brand. I admit, it is a rather unusual place for a party like this, but I may explain. As you know, I recently set up this company, because I am a huge fan of motorcycles and finally wanted to build my own motorbikes. Recently I learned that you are also a fan of riding wheelbikes…err….motorcycles, so I figured it would just be perfect to give you a motorcycle as a present. So, here it is, the first of its kind and the first one ever produced by my company: the „Boga“ motorcycle. It may not be as classy as my own „M-66“, but it is certainly the better choice in rough terrain. I hope you like it and who knows, maybe we can have a race one day!
Enough of my words for now. Ladies and gentleman, please, let’s all together congratulate the man of the day!
Happy birthday Mr. Grievous!“

Attention all Nova League members,
the most problematic unit of the Centuri Special Forces are the Hazard Snipers. They are equipped with high performance hazard gear, able to shield them from most toxic substances, acids and other biological hazards. The suit can also withstand high voltage and even absolute vacuum. They will most likely set up in seemingly impossible to reach places to have the best shot. Be sure to check any possible sniper position before moving on your target. The range of their sniper rifle is about 2000 meters, so keep in mind to check that radius. They are also armed with melee weapons, but less proficient in using them. Best take them out in close combat.

A first cinematic shot from my vignette for mission 1.1 of the 253rd Elite Legion.
The last cinematic shot from my recent build for the Muunilinst collab. I have some more builds ready, but it might still take me a while to take proper photos of them.
Attention all Nova League Members,
the inner circle has received more and more reports of casualties among Nova League associates in the last few weeks. Research into this matter has shown that most casualties were lower rank, inexperienced members, who had moved on Centuri military facilities. Apparently, the Centuri military has assembled special units, proficient in anti-terror operations, to counter Terran Empire attacks carried out by Nova League contractors. All novice Nova League members are highly advised to refrain from such contracts from this point on. Higher rank, experienced members are still free to carry out such missions, but should notice that there won’t be any reinforcements or rescue missions. The inner circle has gathered detail about the special forces’ ability and equipment. Detailed dossiers on all Centuri Special Forces branches will follow shortly.

Another fig off, this time against Custom Brick Builder and Carbon Builds. The theme was sci-fi soldiers and I though this would tie in perfectly with the storyline of Struggle for Klegon, a quite nice Lego RPG group back in the day.
The Blood Irons were a mysterious group which originated on the planet Kastrian. Years ago, the Kastrians had been entangled in an interplanetary war between their two neighboring planets. Inevitably many of the battles of the warring factions were fought on Kastrian, which was located right between the two other planets. Most of the planet was destroyed in the process, the Kastrian people slaughtered, their cities destroyed and their belongings looted. For a decade the universe forgot about the Kastrians, believing them to have been wiped from the face of the galaxy. It was only when the leaders of the nations formerly at war were assassinated in an inexplicably gruesome manor, that the galaxy saw what had become of the remains of Kastian. The surviving Kastians, most of whom had been children during the war, had banded together for vengeance, declaring they were the Blood Irons, the blades forged from the blood of their ancestors in the flames of war.
After the assassinations, the Blood Irons continued exacting vengeance on the ones who wronged them. They were equipped with their signature iron blades, but also utilized heavier weapons such as quad blasters. Their victims never saw their faces, though, since they hid unter clay masks and helmets, resembling the culture and the ancestors they had lost forever.

Here's my entry for the Fig Barf Central and InfernoLug faction challenge. It was fun to play with the red and white contrast here.
The second detail shot from my The Clone Wars diorama. Even when I watched the scene the first time, I was a bit weirded out by the princess Leia like looking character in the crowd. So, of course I had to include her in my build.
