"I am sure now, that is Senator Amidala, who is in danger. I’ve seen it in my visions." - Ahsoka Tano to Master Yoda
__________________________
Here's my part of the CWLug Star Wars The Clone Wars collab. The scene is from the 7th episode of the third season and depicts Aura Sing's failed assassination attempt on Senator Padmé Amidala. While the diorama itself didn't come out as well as I wished it too, I am quite happy with the detail shots, which will be uploaded in the next few days.
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to this years Grand Prix! Before the race commences, we will take a minute to familiarize you with the drivers competing for the championship today! First off and also first place in the starting grid, we have Mathew Brack, last years champion and audience favorite! Driving for Alfa Romeo, he has won 6 out of 19 races so far and is only a few points away from the title toady. Will his trusty car take him to another victory or will his luck finally run out today? We shall see…

I had this build standing on my shelf for quite a while now. I am a big fan of Formular 1 and watch every race, thus, building a race car comes to mind every so often. This one is based on a classic race car I saw in a blog post once, which I can’t find anymore. If it reminds you of a certain model, make sure to post a link in the comments, so I can check, if it is the one!
As I was heading back home from the fields today, I saw my nephew at the landing platform again. He was wearing the old pilot overall he got from Cormac at the space port a while back. In fact, I’m not sure, if he’s ever taking it off again. Sometimes he even sleeps in it, I think. He was sitting there, eating cookies, drinking blue milk and looking at the setting twin suns. He’s been doing that, ever since his dad left to work on that transport ship. That was three years ago. I wonder, if he knows his dad isn’t coming back. He looks at the sky day and night and keeps saying he’s going to be a pilot one day. He’s a good boy. I know I will have to let him go some day and I hope the sky holds whatever he is looking for in it.

I always wondered how many young people like Luke Skywalker there are in the Star Wars galaxy, wishing to be a pilot and travel the universe.
After being sick for over two weeks, finally there's another upload. Originally, I wanted to participate in SHIPtember and post my first WIP today. However, I still have to work on my term paper and a lot of other things, so I fear I can call off SHIPtember once again. Anyways, I have a few more completed builds in store, so stay tuned.
The final war left nothing but ashes. Soon after the initial catastrophe, the survivors fought for the little fertile grounds left and soon, the last resorts of inhabitable land were occupied by militias and enclosed by impenetrable walls. This made the struggle for survival even more complicated for those outside these harbors of life. The outsiders mostly roamed the abandoned cities, that lay in the toxic dust, and lived off canned food found in abandoned homes and stores. While some of them banded together, most stayed on their own and fought anyone for the most valuable resources: food, water and ammunition. With bigger means of transportation being useless in the labyrinth of rubble, survivors utilized dogs for transporting equipment. Of course, even these animals were not immune to the toxic waste and dust and had to be equipped with gas masks as well.

Chapter 1 - The Gangs of Coruscant
Part 17 - Out of Reach
The door opened and a sharp wind hit Jona’s face. She wanted to sprint forward, but was suddenly blinded by rays of light that appeared in front of her, simultaneously with an enormous roaring sound. She stopped dead in her tracks, shielded her eyes and tried her best to see what was going on. Then a hysterical laugh echoed all around her. “You’re too slow, Jedi!” A triumphant Rodian was standing on the ramp of a shuttle, which was ascending from the depths of the abyss in front of her. The Rodian was holding onto the ship’s railing with the last bit of his strength and was bleeding heavily from several wounds, but his grin was one of utter satisfaction. Glowing dimly blue in his bloodstained right hand was the holocron. “A wonderful souvenir!” He shook the holorcon with a twisted smile. Jona let out a cry of rage and reached out with her hand and the force to grab the holocron, but it was no use. Her hand only grabbed thin air and the force forsook her as rage and frustration ran through her body like bitter poison. “Pathetic!” The Rodian cried with laughter. "Now, this is goodbye, Jedi! I’ll take care of the holocron and my friends will take care of you!” he mocked her. “You may run, but you’ll never escape me! Mark my words!” she screamed, but her voice didn’t even carry far enough to reach the Rodain anymore, who was still laughing maniacally. With a roar of its engines, his ship ascended out of sight, towards the planet’s surface, leaving Jona and her rage behind. She lashed out with her lightsaber, but only hit thin air and the floor of the bridge across the abyss she was standing on. It was no use. The Rodian was gone and so was the holocron. Adrenaline was still pumping through her body and she could hear the blood rush through her head. She needed to get to a ship, fast! A scratching , metallic sound made her look towards the other side of the large cylindrical abyss, which she now recognised to be a maintenance shaft for the lower levels. From over there the rest of the bridge was extending towards her. And on it were at least two dozen thugs of all species, brandishing their blasters and rattling their blades, hollering at her in dozens of languages. The Rodian hadn’t lied. He had brought his friends and they were out to get her. Jona took a deep breath and gripped her lightsaber even more tightly. Her broken ribs still stung and the burned skin form the crash was aching. But she wouldn’t give them the satisfaction of defeating her. No, she would show them what happened to those who dared to mock a Jedi! And she was not going to let any other thug escape today.

Uncertain Ways is back after far too long and just in time for May 4th! You can’t imagine how often I tried and failed at building this part. I changed the whole concept several times and had to expand the final build equally as often, until it felt right. Now however I am very happy with it and hope you enjoy it to!
May the 4th be with you and may we enjoy all things Star Wars together again this year!
For those of you who want to see more new Uncertain Ways content, check out my art account ordo_draws. There I'll be posting detailed character designs and maybe one or two small comics form the story, with the first one being the re-design of Master Cal Amandis. Make sure to take a look!

„Can you feel it, my young apprentice? The power of thousands of years of the Siths’ reign dwell in this place!“ She followed her master through the gigantic hallway. Yes, she could sense it, the darkness within this place. Generations of Sith had trained, lived, fought and died in here and their rage was still echoing through the halls. Along the hallways, giant statues of the most powerful Lords had been placed and their prying, dead eyes pierced her heart with every step she took. „Here, in this well of darkness, this vascular of power, you will face a trial that will determine, whether you are worthy to be my apprentice and capable of becoming a true Sith.“, her master continued. Yes, she was. And yes, a trial lay ahead. She could feel the anger, rage and bitter determination of the old Sith fill her heart and fuel her own dark desires. She might be the apprentice now, but she would soon be the master. She had to kill her master soon and this place would become his grave, just like it did for so many before him. He had been the bane of her existence, ever since he had found her in the ruins of her home. Every day he had made her suffer, beating her, scolding her, twisting her mind and forcing her to do his bidding. Yet, all this had only made her stronger. She had harnessed her anger, cultivating it and drawing strength from it, until one day, her rage would rain down on her master in form of her glowing red lightsaber. And this day had finally come. „Go now, my apprentice, find the holocron, buried within theses walls. Retrieve the secret and I will open your eyes to the true power of the dark side!“ She would do so, of course. But once she had the holocron, its secrets were all her’s and her master’s downfall would be certain. She walked on…

This build took me longer than expected, but now it is here! Ever since building the Jedi Temple, I wanted to create a Sith equivalent of it. Now, I even consider making this a small story, with a few more builds. We will see.
Emperor Palpatine sends his best squad to retrieve a Sith artifact from an ancient tomb lost in the jungle.
Après avoir acheté sa barque Roddrick décida de la rénover avant de partir en mer. Il se trouva donc un endroit tranquille pour commencer son travail de rénovation.
After many successful missions, The Cyclone Force is sent on morak to meet Admiral Robb and protect him during his passage on the planet.
After several successful missions, the Cyclone Force is sent to a planet under Imperial control where rebels have been seen. After a quick confrontation the Cyclone Force regained control of the area.
While some Jedi, like Yoda and Ki-Adi Mundi, did field work and served the order in battle even at advanced age, not all older Jedi saw themselves fit for that task. Many Jedi veterans, no longer wanting to put their lives in danger, took up other roles within the order. While some served as librarians in the temple archives, others dedicated their lives to a deeper study of the force or chose to write down what they had experienced over the course of their active duty. Many also decided to train younglings, the future of the order, in an effort to pass on their wisdom, acquired on their journeys through the galaxy.

Originally, this was planned to be a little tutorial in SNOT floor building, requested by @captainlego2 on Instagram. Somehow it developed into a whole vignette though, as I am always happy to build parts of the Jedi Temple. I may revamp the tutorial some time, though, and post it separately.
Also, does the guy on the right look like The Dude from The Big Lebowski?
„I’m out!“, I screamed as I dove into cover. Shab, this was bad. We had not expected opposition before reaching the city limits, especially not in this force forsaken jungle! But then, out of nowhere, this di’kutla commando droids appeared. They had isolated us from the rest of our strike team and pushed us to the edge of a little landing pad. Bab, bap, bap! Sergeant Linx was hammering staccato salves of deece fire into the nearest clanker’s chest. I slung my rifle back over my shoulder. Where the shab was my knife? „Command, this is CT-8304, strike team theta. Hard contact! I repeat, hard contact! Sector 4.7. We need immediate backup!“ I shouted into the comlink. „Argh!“ A flesh of light passed me and Kilroy dropped to the floor, a smoking hole, where his chest should have been. „Man down!“ I screamed, but there was no-one to hear me. Linx was still laying down fire, as I pulled the remains of Kilroy to cover. „I repeat, we need backup, now!“ But I knew it was too late. Linx’s deece spat out its last bullet and he too drew his sword….

Here’s my part of the Muunilinst collab. This was a lot of fun to build, especially since I usually don’t do that much landscaping and freeform. Also, it was nice to use those commando droids for once. Check out part 1 and part 2, too!
The Ash Squad is sent to planet in the outer rim to collect kyber crystals discovered by inhabitants.
While the Blood Iron assassins mostly struck their targets in their homes and rarely engaged in open combat, they still utilized a variety of vehicles. The backbone of their activities were aircrafts called Blades. The name Blade stem from both, the Blood Iron’s affinity with swords and the peculiar silhouette of the aircraft. It consisted mostly of two enormous engines and the thin main shaft on which they were mounted. While not heavily armed or armored, the Blade was perfectly suited for the Blood Irons, because it could get them to their target quickly and back home even quicker. The craft could carry two Blood Iron Assassins, who hang from the main shaft in hammock like cockpits. In case of emergency those cockpits could be detached and functioned as a kind of escape pod. Different kind of pods could be attached, some featuring weapons like machine guns and rocket launchers. Besides that, the craft featured elaborate landing gear, necessary to support the enormous weight of the engines, when not in flight. Of course, these crafts were only seldomly seen by anyone, as the assassins usually got away before any of their targets or their guards even noticed their presence, only hearing the faint roar of the engines as the craft vanished into the sky.

The Cyclone Force is a secret squad created in the same things as the Clone Force 99. These are clones made more efficient through experiments but this time the Empire has made sure to keep them under control.
They have an important place in the execution of Order 66. Emperor Palpatine tasked them with eliminating dangerous Jedis or those with great potential.
For their first mission, the Cyclone Force is sent to the planet Aldhani where a child Jedi with great potential is supposed to be hiding. Once on Aldhani, the Cyclone Force begins their hunt.

While most people consider the Mandalorians to be a singular people, Mandalorian society actually consists of many different clans and loosely bound groups of individuals. Examples are clans as Clan Skirata, the Death Watch and Clan Jiyu. The latter stands out because of its long history and core believes. The clan exclusively consist of mercenaries that have been banished or excluded from their previous clans. While usually forced to be alone for the rest of their days, Clan Jiyu provides a new home for those fallen from grace. The clan was originally founded by Zal Castra, a Mandalalorian woman, banished from her clan at a young age for showing mercy to an enemy and thus breaking a mercenary contract. Not accepting to be punished for doing the right thing, Zal gathered likeminded Mandalorians and her clan aspired to hold up a higher moral code than many others. While being considered weak by other Mandalorians, Clan Jiyu was certainly a force to be reckoned with. Once given a contract, which they always carefully studied for moral pitfalls, they never failed to do the job.

Out of all cyber augmentation companies, Gomora Industries might have been the most notorious. Being on the forefront of cyborg researche, they required all their workers to be in some way cyber augmented and were often said to even experiment on them with new technology. the laboratories of the company were heavily guarded, often leaving visitors and business partners wondering, what in God’s name was waiting inside and hoping none of these abominations would ever escape. It was often suggested, that the company had ties to ultra progressive transhumanist groups and even terrorists, responsible for human trafficking and illegal cyber augmentation. While this could never be proven, the influx of new subjects for modification seemed suspiciously steady.

Here are my figures for the finale of the @figbarfcentral fig-off tournament. The topic was Cyberpunk. As the whole thematic complex of Transhumanism and Posthumanism is a focus of my studies and I am a big fan of Ghost in the Shell, I decided to focus on the cyborg aspect of the theme. I treated this figbarf as a study of how to create the weirdest Lego cyborgs, attaching as many non-minifigure parts to the figs as possible.
If you like these figures, please head over to @figbarfcentral on Instagram and vote for me in the tournament. Thank you all so much for you support!
[Mission Log 000, Sergeant Sakana]
No matter what they say, you can never trust intel. This lab should have been an easy target. Single layer bio-hazard doors, only two back-up systems for the alarm and no more than 20 clankers on the first levle, my shab. We almost ran out of thermal wire after the third heavy blast door and we had to take out the main generator to stop the alarm a fourth time. And as for the clankers, there seems to be a whole battalion down here. Anyway, orders are orders and we will see this thing through.
„Open Circle Command, this is Blue Squad, we cleared the first level. I repeat, first level, all clear!“

After years of not participating in any RPG group, I decided to give it another try and apply for the 253rd Elite Legion. I am curious what will come out of it and how active I'll be. I am probably most excited to write some clone wars era stories again, especially, since I will try to write them by old canon rules, in a Republic Commando kind of style. Let's hope I get accepted.
The Red Coats were a special branch of the Jedi order, consisting exclusively of Jedi who had been severely injured on the battlefield. Forming strong bonds in the force, the Red Coats were able to work together and overcome their physical limitations, with each member compensating the weakness of a certain other. The injuries sustained by the members ranged from lost limbs, over blindness to respiratory issues, yet, when working as a group, they almost surpassed ordinary Jedi in battle. Their numbers increased notably during the clone wars, where many Jedi were injured in battle with the Separatist forces. Following their tradition, the Red Coats even formed a battalion of injured clones soldiers, many of whom adopted their signature red and white color scheme in their armor. Being thankful for not being taken out of service and being able to continue fighting alongside their brothers, many of these clones disobeyed order 66, resulting in a number of Red Coats surviving to fight the Empire.

Back at the village, where the Legion had set up camp, the day went on about as uneventful as expected. As the sun was setting on the fields, Bruiser had turned to polish his Decee for the fifth time and Linx had sorted the remaining rations of nutrient cubes into neat stacks, which’s precise geometry could have won him a graduation certificate from the Alderaan Academy for Architecture. It was only when I was about to shed my gear to go to sleep, when a strange orange glow illuminated the dimm hut. „Are the locals having a bonfire out there?“ Linx said, half joking, but grabbing his helmet subconsciously. „Don’t know, let’s check it out.“ I responded and reached towards the door handle. Then, a loud bang could be heard and the ground was shaken by an explosion. We all rushed out of the building, blasters in hand. The silhouettes of the buildings were illuminated by a raging fire that had broken out on the other side of the village. The farmers were running from it, scrambling their belongings together, tripping over the uneven patches of plants that covered the ground. „Command, come in, it’s Talon Squad. What’s the situation?“ I spoke tensely into the com link, checking the street in front of us through the scope of my rifle. „Talon, this is Command. Seps closing in on your position from the north. At least a hundred droids with a lot more on the way, judging by scans.“ So intel had been right. „Seem’s we’re not the only ones on vacation here.“ „I should have thrown a towel onto the deck chairs at the pool then…“ Linx sneered. We advanced from building to building until we finally spotted the first shiny metal head emerging from the smoke. We opened fire in unison, mowing the first line of droids down immediately. Bruiser took position at the entrance of a smaller building to provide cover fire, while Linx and I pushed on. „SBD to your right!“ Bruiser yelled just in time for me to hammer the next round into the metal beast approaching. „Another dozen coming from the left, Sir.“ Linx said, changing the clip on his Decee. „Ready the detonators, we’re going to hit them hard. Make sure to aim well though, we don’t want to give the village a new pond.“ I said, gesturing at Bruiser. „With pleasure.“ he replied and took the first of a row of thermal detonators from his belt. As the next metal face plate poked around the corner, he threw it and hell broke loose. We were finally being shot at again and as I had expected, it was far less fun than I had assumed it to be.

A last minute entry form mission 2.2 of the 253rd Elite Legion, but one that was a lot of fun to build. The smooth form of the building was a challenge, but a great learning experience as well!
„Okay, Class, here’s the scenario. You have just defeated a dozen of battle droids. The only one still standing is a perfectly functional B2-Class Superbattledroid. Usually, it would not stand a chance against you, but your DC is jammed. Reinforcements are coming, but they are still six clicks away. What do you do?“ Almost all hands shot up. „Yes, class?“ They answered in unison. „Standard procedure is to fall back, take cover, wait for reinforcements and perform standard weapon maintenance procedure.“ „Congratulations, class, you are all dead and reinforcements are still two clicks away.“ „What?“ „The average time for target elimination of a B2 class droid is two seconds. You are dead, before you have even turned around to run. All of you, except…. yes, CT 2964/6181, what would you do?“ I asked the only boy who hadn’t raised his hand earlier. „Sir. The best option would be to attack. The only area outside of wrist blaster range is the droid’s own body. Thus, it would be required to leap forward and hold onto the droid. Then, blunt trauma could be inflicted on the droid’s optical sensors, using the disabled DC as a baton. This would render the droid’s targeting systems useless and buy enough time for reinforcements to arrive.“ „Very good. What’s your name?“ „Sir, you just called him by his num…“ „Not you, 04. Him. What’s your name?“ The boy hesitated just a heart beat, but understood. „Bonker, Sir.“ The kid even had humor or he had just read the rest of the class’ minds. „Class, Bonker here has just demonstrated the single most important characteristic of an ARC trooper: Creative thinking. By thinking outside of standard procedure, he has overcome a situation, most of you would have succumbed to.“ The rest of the class was utterly startled by these words and Bonker couldn’t even grasp what had just happened. „He has what it takes to become one of the elite. You all still have much to learn. That’s it. Class dismissed. Bonker, with me.“

Shortly after first appearing out of nowhere, the Blood Irons soon became well known among the people of the galaxy for their merciless assassinations and horrific executions. However, most people only saw them as a minor threat and felt safe, as long as they resided on prosperous planets with high tech security systems. That only changed when the Blood Irons carried out an assassination on Kent Gerrit, a wealthy businessman, residing on the garden world Niwa. The planet of Niwa served as a luxurious retreat for anyone in the galaxy, who had made a fortune and wanted to enjoy the finer things in life, amidst nature, never worrying about work ever again. Gerrit in particular had made his fortune selling weapons of war to both sides entangled in the conflict that had wiped the Blood Iron’s home planet from existence. While knowing the group would eventually come for him, he still considered himself safe on the garden world and refused to be transferred to a nearby military garrison, a favor offered by one of his former customers. This false sense of safety prove fatal when the Blood Irons intruded his domicile. A massacre ensued, in which most of Gerrit’s security personell fell to the blades of the assassins. Strategically taking out the security first and leaving their actual target to wait in despair, the blood irons left Gerrit to be the last one killed. Rumor has it that he died cowardly, begging for mercy, as the Blood Irons crude justice was served. It is said that the leaves of the garden world have been stained with his blood ever since.

With crime rates skyrocketing in the early 2030s, Japanese Gouvernement officials pushed for a reform of the police force, resulting in the restructuring into several specialized branches. The one most known to the public, especially for their uncompromising use of heavy violence, was Public Security Section 6, the militarized anti crime unit. Armed to the teeth with machine-guns, sniper rifles and state of the art anti riot gear, these masked commando units were sent wherever heavy resistance was to be expected. Their skills ranged from selective target disposal, aka assassinations, over storming enemy bases to defusing bombs. Overall, Section 6 served more as a state army, than a police force, regularly attacking political enemies of the ruling parties and crushing protests on the street.

"Voldemort was ready. As Harry shouted, "Expelliarmus!" Voldemort cried, "Avada Kedavra!" This build is based off the duel between Voldemort and Harry in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. This process was defiantly a learning process for me, running out of parts, struggling to find time to build and trying out experimental techniques were just some of my struggles with this build. There are some areas that could use some improvement, but overall I'm happy how this turned out : )
Also very fitting this moc is coming out in October😉🎃
„Go, go, go!“, I screamed at Koi as we climbed out of the impromptu exit of the facility, which he had blasted into the rock. The timers were set to 15 minutes and we had to get the shab out of there. Outside we were greeted by heavy blaster fire. The last remaining Vandosians had set up their snipers and E-webs amidst the debris on the battlefield. They weren’t even trying to hit us, but aimed for the smaller Kyber crystal formations, causing dangerous explosions, whenever they hit them. This was worse than a minefield. We sprinted along wrecks of LAATs, trying to keep our heads down as much as possible. „Looks like we get to see a firework after all!“ Koi laughed, but I could hear the strained undertone in his voice. Bang! Something like a hammer hit my chest. Gasping for breath, I was hurled backwards and landed flat on my back. This was it. I expected the pain any second now. „Get up, Sir! No time for a nap!“. Koi brought me to my feet. I checked my armor status and it was still sealed and intact. Then I registered the smoking crater just a meter in front of me and the smoking surface layer of my breast plate, which had been melted by the hot shrapnel. „Haar’chak! The paint is ruined!" „With all due respect, get the shab going, Sir!“ Koi pushed me. Another blaster round missed my helmet by mere centimeters to prove his point. „Right, let’s go!“ We sprinted on. As we approached the rendezvous point, still under heavy fire, the LAAT waiting for us looked more beautiful than ever before to me.

A closer look at Mizu Squad being scared of Durge, as seen in my recent vignette.
To this date, there is a legend in the land of Fallenwood that speaks of a group of extraordinary travelers, called the Five Furies. This odd collection of adventurers arrived at the border of the land all out of the sudden in the midst of the 6th era of Baridam. At the time, the land was suffering under the cruel rule of Baridam VI. and was plagued by illness and famine, with little hope for the ordinary citizen for a better life. But soon word spread about the odd fellows that seemed so different, yet shared a strong bond of unknown origin.
Among the group was a raven haired, athletic woman, only known as the Goldsmith. Wielding a shining gold hammer, she crushed her enemies with unrelenting brutality, yet was generous to the people, using the riches acquired in the raids of Baridam’s strongholds not for personal gain, but to create golden tools and utensils for the poor.
Regarded as the most beautiful of the group was a girl called Arrowfeather, who tiptoed along branches and leafs, never spotted by her enemies until her whistling arrows ended their lives. She was said to be an excellent singer and storyteller and some of Fallenwood’s most well known songs and tales are assumed to stem from her.
Still worshipped as a goddess in some parts of the land is the Herbalist, a soft speaking, warm tempered woman, well versed in the art of healing and brewing medicine. A pleasant smell is said to have followed her wherever she appeared and breathing it in is assumed to have cured most illnesses already. She was the one to accompany Arrowfeather’s singing by fiddling a tune on her flute, which she always carried around.
Most feared, but also admired, was the Arch Magestress. This witty and slender woman was entangled in magical business of the most obscure kind and could conjure everything from a fluffy bunny to a fire boasting dragon with so much as a snap of her finger. It is her, who is said to have climbed mount Everfrost to let lightning rain on the forces of Baridam in the final battle.
Lastly, the most mysterious member of the group was the Lady of Glass. Having snow pale skin, some considered her to be a ghost, but as expeditions into the unknown regions of the world have shown years later, she probably was just a Moonshadow Elf far away from home. Law abiding people had no reason to be afraid of her, but thieves and thugs soon learned to fear her, as she seemingly merged with the shadows at night, slaying them when they least expected it.
During their travels, the Furies freed the land of the cruel rule of Baridam and brought wealth and health to Fallenwood. However, as suddenly as they had emerged, they disappeared one day, never to be seen again. To this day, it is unknown what brought them here and what common goal bound them together. While they may be no more than mere legends to some, there are still those who pray for their return until this day, as Fallenwood is again on the brink of another age of darkness.

My entry for the second round of the Figbrafcentral tournament. The theme was DnD and I had a lot of fun creating characters and their backstory for it. I only played a pen and paper RPG once so far, but would love to do it again!
Have you seen Suzume?
The original poster for comparison.
A close up shot of the ruins in the background.
This brick built version of the poster turned out to be a larger project than I expected. The full build is roughly 3 feet wide, 4 feet deep, and over a foot tall. I started with the door itself and quickly realized a regular minifigure would be comically small next to it. I tried several different ideas for partially brick built figures. Ultimately I used a simple brick between the torso and hips to elongate Suzume's body, giving her more realistic proportions, and a more appropriate height compared to the door.
Suzume is Makoto Shinkai's latest project and is one of the highest grossing anime movies of all time, giving the director three of the top ten. It is a fun and quirky adventure that I found quite enjoyable and well worth the watch.
Made for the fifth day of VignWeek 2022. The category was to build something with only the 7 original Lego colors.

As promised, here is the tutorial for my littler R0-XI Droid. I'd love to see your versions of it, so feel free to tag me in your post, if you use the design.

A little quick build related to Assassin's Creed Origins, which I started playing recently (I know... I am late to the party). This was a nice occasion to finally extend my collection of AC builds.
After Operation Isandlwana had proven that there was a significant Eurasian military presence in Africa, the UFA feared for a future attack on their lands. We launched Operation Cetshwayo in an effort to prevent this, advancing into the Eurasian-controlled parts of Central Africa. Not only had Eurasia been funding and supply rebels and militant groups, but they had started building bases and placing troops throughout the region. To stop this, we knew that it would be imperative to cut off the supply chains for the rebels and the troops here. Together, with the aid of our ally Oceania, we began assaults on airports reported to be shuttling supplies and troops in, as well as the port city of Soyo, which intelligence had stated was a major site for the import of weapons and supplies. Cutting off these access points for the Eurasian military would be vital to the success of Operation Cetshwayo…
It was just after 10:40 at night. We had seen the huge shipping freighter pull into the dock just five hours ago. The port city of Soyo, just barely in Eurasian occupied territory in Central Africa, had been busy and bustling all day. My squad and I had been anxious all day long too, with the anticipation of this first strike in Operation Cetshwayo weighing heavily on our minds. We knew this was a vital target, and I was thankful for the aid of an Oceania Advanced Infantry squad for the land operation of this mission. Our plan was for us and them to rush the freighter, with two other Oceania infantry operatives taking a small boat out to the freighter for a two-pronged attack. We all got into our positions, I gave the signal, and we rushed forward: Operation Cetshwayo had begun.

The first part of my entry into the Operation Cetshwayo contest for the World in Darkness group.
Overall, I'm quite happy with how this scene turned out. Pretty satisfied with the freighter I made, and it was fun to do a docks scene as I've always thought ports and huge cargo ships are really cool. I also love how my FP came out here, the building designs for that were pretty much ripped from this build and I love how it turned out looking so I'll definitely be employing this technique for FP in future scenes. Hope you all like this build as well, and keep your eyes out for the next parts of my entry in the next few days!
Here's a little build I had designed a few months ago, but just didn't have enough of the metallic gold dishes to finish it properly until a recent bricklink order. Quite happy with how this turned out, I like how everything looks other than the thickness of the solar panel parts, but that couldn't have been avoided. Also this was kind of a test for me editing out the background of a build, and I think it turned out pretty well for it being one of my first few tries. Anyway, hope you all enjoy this!
Our tour through the foundry was promptly interrupted by an incoming distress call from one of the other squads. Apparently, they had encountered an enemy bounty hunter called Durge in the tunnels and not been heard from after. I didn’t know the name at all, but the audible gasps from every other trooper in the channel clearly indicated that Durge’s appearance was bad news. We were to search for the missing squad and Koi filled me in on the Legion’s history with this, as he called him, monster. A practically immortal killing machine with a grudge against Mandalorian’s didn’t sound like fun at all, but I didn’t give the description too much credit at first. Boy, was I wrong.
We reached the squad’s last known coordinates and entered the network of sewers beneath the city. The fact that Koi had added an actual blaster to his kit on the way made me a bit more worried for what lay ahead. We slowly tip-toed through the tunnels, listening for any noise that was not coming from our comlinks. The foul stench of raw sewage was not stopped by my helmet’s filters and made me nauseous. „Keep your eyes and ears open, we don’t want anything to jump at us.“ I told Koi as we pressed against the tunnels wall, which was lined with pipes of all sizes. Koi’s lack of an answer was more than indicating his tension and slowly I began to actually worry. Could Durge really be that vicious? As if to prove a point, the stench in my nose mixed with a new smell, one I knew all to well from countless battlefields: blood and guts ripped apart. No soldier ever forgot that smell, not ever. Afraid of what I would find, I looked over to the water. „By the Force…“ I knew Koi had the same dire look of fear on his face, even with his helmet on. Floating above the water, tainted dark red by spilled blood, were pieces of white armor. And it was then, that we heard something. A bloodcurdling voice was coming form above us, saying nothing but:
„I have you now.“

A super hurried entry for the conclusion of mission 17 of the 253rd Elite Legion. I am more busy than ever with university these day, but after assembling this Durge fig, I just couldn’t resist throwing this together in a few hours. I hope you enjoy it, as I stick my nose back into my books.
