I'm back with my newest moc, the Red London Telephone Box.

The model contains 1856 pieces and features lots of interesting details. The door can be opened to reveal an authentic detailed interior, complete with an old fashioned telephone.

As well as the phone box I've also included a British pillar box and a street lamp complete with hanging flower baskets.

I think the iconic London Telephone Box would be a great subject for a LEGO IDEAS set so I've uploaded it to the LEGO IDEAS website. If you like the model I'd be really grateful if you could head over and give the model your support. 10,000 votes and it could become a real set.

Thanks very much.

It was a right 'orrible day today, where I spent literally all the working day trying to debug a broken website, then followed it up with a three hour governors' meeting.

Ah well.

A good way to unwind was to devote some time to my lovely Christmas present from Si and Karen. A Lego Big Ben, from the architecture series! And here it is modelled in front of the jolly old London Eye. :)

This is the consolidation of Lego sets 40178, 40305, 60097, and 5005358 into one Modular Building Lego Store.

First floor includes the pick a brick wall, the "Cash Wrap," shelves of product, and other displays. The Second floor has additional shelves of products and displays. The Third floor holds the Manager's office area, the stock room, the employee's bathroom, and the minifig factory assembly station. All 4 sets are represented within the building, plus I grabbed a couple of additional parts from 31081 Skate House, (the black 4x3x1 frame for the trap door on the roof, and the printed 2x2x1 graffiti Dk red brick).

Today, we examine the preeminent imperial thermae built before all other such complexes in the Eternal City. The Baths of Titus set the standard for what would become ever larger thermae complexes built during several succeeding imperial dynasties. When it came to the art of imperial propaganda, the Roman emperors could always be counted on to outdo their predecessors. As such, the eponymous emperor Titus sought to break the mould of what had previously been more disparate Roman baths scattered throughout the city, and establish a consolidated precinct within which all expected amenities were contained and laid out symmetrically, including frigidaria, tepidaria and caldaria (cold, tepid and hot bathing rooms).

A Lego Group inspired building (Lego Set 10190) (well, at least the bottom floor - the top is all mine).

The "market" in Market Street, allowed early adopters of Lego Modular Building to expand their towns with European styled market space. The set included the allusion that you could (and should) build on top of the market to add variation to the presentation.

I have elected not only to expand the footprint of this building to 20x20 studs, but to put a residence on top, with their own private entrance. This is one of 3 variations of that idea.

Also known as Still Bend, this Frank Lloyd Wright house is located in Two Rivers, WI.

Situated in Hoi Tan Street of Sham Shui Po, the Kwan Tai Temple is the only temple in Kowloon to house the deity of Guan Yu from the Three Kingdoms period. Behind the entrance paifang, a courtyard was created to contain a Chinese pavilion and a censer at centre. Kwan Tai Temple was originally abutting the sea. The site was soon become an inland area after several reclaimations. Right behind the temple, there is the Sham Shui Po Public Dispensary, a Grade II historical building which also worths a visit.

This build is part of a larger display I'm developing for exhibition next year, where I'll be revisiting and expanding on the concept of Neo Fabuland—a reinterpretation of the classic Fabuland aesthetic, much like how Neo-Classic Space draws inspiration from the original Classic Space theme.

I currently have several builds in progress for this display, and this is the second one to be completed.

This build is not inspired by an existing Fabuland set. It features a stucco rendered brick train station building with a tiled roof on a stone platform perched on a hilltop. The build includes a cutaway bridge underpass and rounded rocks as well as my spreading tree technique.

The train in this build is based on the engine from 910035 Logging Railway and also showcases my approach to Neo Fabuland windows, using brick-built frames with vinyl-cut sticker panes to echo the distinctive charm of original Fabuland designs.

📣 I'm thrilled to announce several ALL-NEW benefits for each tier on Patreon! After a successful first year, I am now in a position to offer even more one-of-a-kind benefits, in addition to all the usual perks and exclusive insights. This would not have been possible without the steadfast support of all patrons throughout 2022 and into the new year! So thank you all, and without further ado, let's get into the new perks!

️ CORINTHIAN TIER

• Corinthian patrons will now receive THREE Custom Buildable Kits! These will be sent out every three months; specifically April, August and December. Some will be larger than others, but on average, there will be a balance between smaller and larger offerings. This perk includes the one yearly kit for Ionic patrons. Kits will be sent a month prior to the public sale.

• Over the past year, the Corinthian tier has been optimally structured in its benefits to be the most *cost-effective* means of collecting all the products I currently offer and plan to offer on a regular basis.

I made it to day 4! The Courtyard by Marriott downtown is a beautiful building, but at this scale, its hard to show.

I have elected not only to expand the footprint of this building to 20x20 studs, but to put a residence on top, with their own private entrance. This is one of 3 variations of that idea.

This is based on a reworking of the Lego Haunted House set, with some "assistance" from Kristel's free instructions from Rebrickable, and other inspirations from BCD Mansard as well as other examples available on other Lego fan sites on the internet. I'm happy with the outcome, especially with the line of the imbedded chimney, seen if the side of the building is not against another building.

Theater Lüneburg

This build was for a client (Architecture). While the project remains undisclosed and is temporarily shelved due to COVID-19, I want to share the images before boxing up the model for a while. Hopefully this project will get revealed to the public and built at some point.

Created based on the Brick Builder's Pro (L.G. Orlando), “Town Street” (1 of a set of 4 building instructions from those aftermarket instructions), the “Bay Window Brokers” part was used to map out the basics of this set. The original instruction only depicts a set of essentially 2 boxes, set one on top of the other, with no stairs or other connection other than being on top of the other.

My depiction, provides 8 additional more studs of store front, stairs to the second floor, and some amenities.

My first fleshed out version of the Cinema from the 'Town Plan' set.

I designed this as a commission for a couple to commemorate the location they got engaged. If you’ve visited this spot, or if you’d to display this slice of beautiful architecture, instructions are available on Rebrickable.

Andy comes in and saves Gomer's life.

For those of you that have been wanting one, here's the start. I've been wanting to use these wheels for several months, but I couldn't find a use for them. The station uses 8 axles and features two parking structures. It's name will most likely be Central Station, because of the street it's located on, located in the Bley District.

This replaces the station on the lakefront, which was in a bad location.
