Here I stand on the edge of the ledges I've made
Looking for a steady hand
Here I stand in a land full of rocks in the valleys
Tryna be a better man.
We thought they might like some company out in the wilderness, but I barely got this shot before they took off running.

Two years ago, and I remember the shoot like it was yesterday. Back then, for me, it was all about the boots. And what about now, you ask? Well...
We saw several Big Horn ewes at the Mouse's Tank at the Valley of Fire State Park. Sadly, there wasn't a ram with them.
Three's company?
Arguably the best route of its kind in the UK, the Ledge route has a bit of everything. It starts in No. 5 Gully on Ben Nevis and weaves an improbable line up Carn Dearg Buttress, leading to a narrow ridge and finally the summit of Carn Dearg on the Ben Nevis plateau. Winter II
Horses are in a field grazing on the top of a dramatic cliff that drops down into the Atlantic ocean from Ireland's Cliffs of Moher coastline.
CSX D706 rolls into Grand Ledge, Michigan behind a pair of ex-Conrail SD40-2s. Despite the Pere Marquette installing CTC on most of its Detroit-Grand Rapids mainline, the section from Lansing to Lake Odessa remained ABS-signalled into the present era.
The wind was blowing quite hard at Dancing Ledge so there was some good foamy seas to be captured.
If you can manage to get down to the lower rock platform in the middle you will definitely be in for an exciting time in weather like this as you can easily get caught out a big wave and get nicely soaked.

Hi all. Sorry for my absence recently. I am still taking pictures but I have been exploring other artistic avenues, doing some sketching and painting etc rather than processing photos.
Thought I'd post this one though to say 'Hi'. Hope you are all well and enjoying your photography.

Quiet walk along the lake in September with only the birds singing and my humming to accompany me. I hope you all find your spot this weekend. With perfect weather I will chase those birdies of a different kind! :-)

Contemplation is the consummation of what it means for us to be made “Real” by love. This consummation includes all our jagged edges—everything about ourselves, published or unpublished, which we resent yet God seeks out as His own abode within us and among us. This gathers love and wound into one: love makes us Real and so do our wounds, indwelled by Love.

I put these jars on the window ledge to dry after washing the grunge off. (I found them on the floor of an abandoned barn, covered in muck & pigeon poop) lol
....but I have no idea how that pine cone got there !!
One day it was just sitting there, then one day it just disappeared !!
Daily ritual. Hanging out on the window ledge watching the birds and guilty of being too cute... Little devils. ☺
