There was a great turn out of education stakeholders from accross industry & education at our Learning Edge Conference. Attendees heard a range of interesting presentations and panels.
This conference was part of the HR Leadership Group Programme 2015 which is kindly sponsored by Aviva Health.

The conference is a day-long event designed to help educators from all levels spark new ideas for the classroom building on the cross-curricular integration of science, technology, engineering, art/architecture/agriculture and mathematics (STEAM).

To understand the benefits of e-Learning with Homework Joy, you have to understand the whole idea behind it. To start, the students are not only learning at school but are also learning at home. It provides various subjects for students to explore and learn.
I've been practicing trackstands in my living room while it's raining outside. So far, I've been able to hold them about 10 seconds... still gotta practice some more.
A week when I have learnt how to use my new scanner & how to work with layers.. many thanks to skeletal mess for the use of his texture I also used one of my own which is available for anyone else to use if they wish :)
I realise I still have a lot to learn & I am not even sure if I will ever do much with textures & layers but I am enjoying the challenge of learning something new.
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend & I will visit tomorrow..right now it's way past my bedtime ;)

Service Learning Project - Oral History
Students at Xavier School of Excellence in South Bend, Indiana prepare for their service learning project, visiting the Cardinal Nursing Home where they will be sharing gifts with the residents and interviewing the residents to learn about their life and times gone by. The students are practicing interviewing skills and using Nokia phones as recording devices loaned by the New Learning Institute’s Model Classroom program.
Brian Burnett led podcasting and interviewing preparation activities with students and Justin Zobrosky, the lead teacher on this service learning project.
This project is supporting the Model Classroom’s Teacher of the Year Tania Grimes (Director at Xavier School of Excellence in South Bend, Indiana), where she designed a mission based learning project supported by digital media and tools.
