In 2006, the New York Mets introduced a new segment in between innings on the Diamondvision scoreboard in leftfield: The Jose Reyes Spanish Academy, where fans could learn Spanish with "Professor Reyes." In the taped skits, José Reyes, the star shortstop from the Domincan Republic picks a Spanish word or phrase and selected fans attempt to pronounce it, with Reyes criticquing their efforts. ""I watch it sometimes on the field," Reyes said. "Everyone seems to like it and that's fun for me."
After three up-and-down injury plagued seasons, the then 23-year old broke out in a big way in 2006. He was selected to his first all star game, won his first Silver Slugger Award, and finished seventh on the National League MVP ballot for a team that ran away with the National League East and came within an inning of advancing to the World Series.

Stagecoach in Hastings Driver Training "Learn and Earn!" Coach 52464 R84SEF.
This vehicle was new to Stagecoach Newcastle Busways in 1998 and is now based with Stagecoach in Hastings. It came from Stagecoach Perthshire Scotland in 2014, while similar vehicle 52462 R82SEF is now 1975HE with Stagecoach in West Yorkshire, 52463 R83SEF is still at Stagecoach Western Scotland, and 52465 R85SEF is now sold.
I took this while out for a walk, it's interesting what you find when your not looking for it!

However due to my main computer on which I edit my work being struck down with a big bad virus, this picture and all the others I am uploading, were Unedited but have now been replaced with Edited versions. So enjoy and Thanks for your patience and understanding.
I do still hate everything about this shit that is new Flickr and always will, but an inability to find another outlet for my work that is as easy for me to use as the Old BETTER Flickr was, has forced me back to Flickr, even though it goes against everything I believe in.
I don't generally have an opinion on my own work, I prefer to leave that to other people and so based on the positive responses to my work from the various friends I had made on Flickr prior to the changes I have decided to upload some more of my work as an experiment and to see what happens.
I'll take a risk by posting this photo publicly (Sorry, Cindy!), even though it includes a snake. This education staff member told me that it had become comfortable on her arm, and hadn't moved for a few minutes.

The Learn-to-Swim programme runs from 25th May - 5th June 2014. 45 children and 17 mothers will each receive 10 days instruction. The event is run by Soneva Fushi in partnership with Baa Atoll Education Centre, the school on Eydhafushi.
