The entire time I edited this image I listened to Lean wit It, Rock wit It by Dem Franchize Boyz. I hate rap music but this one is a classic.
This is a pretty old picture taken at the beginning of the summer. The first time I processed it was extremely poor so today I decided to make it right.
I don't know how the idea for Ryan to lean with the Milky Way came about. It makes the image much more interesting because just the backside of a person looking at the cosmos is pretty dull.
Hope you like the water mark! It'll be sporting all my photos from here on out i guess :/
the lean of the thirty five year old laburnum tree, compare to the perpendicular of the chandelier (one of tiddy's shelters is to the right of the chandelier in the background)
over the easter weekend i noticed how the laburnum tree was leaning towards the house and the patio pergola. it wasn't like that last year. decision made to remove as much of the ivy as i could to lessen the weight on the branches and expose the lean of the trunk.

for many years my garden was a shrubbery flic.kr/p/Lhv9ag which i loved. a picket fence covered in an ivy hedge coming down in a storm flic.kr/p/2gnCyih meant that over time changes had to happen flic.kr/p/2mn2x8a i'll be glad when the trellis is covered in honeysuckle and jasmine. that's the plan ...

Here's a bit of a funky angle on some narrow gauge rails in Orbisonia, PA. These once guided untold tonnage of equipment and passengers for the East Broad Top Railroad. The actual rail line shut down operations back in 1956, but then the Scenic Railroad started up soon after. Sadly, as of 2011, the scenic operations shut down. EBT is currently awaiting a willing buyer to hopefully get it up and running again.

A lean-to is term used for two similar, yet different types of building.
It can be a free standing structure of three walls and a sloping roof. The open side is sheltered away from the prevailing winds and rains. Often a rough structure made of logs or unfinished wood and used as a camping shelter. It can also refer to a shed, abutting the wall of another structure, with three walls and a sloping roof.

Lean on me, when you're not strong
And I'll be your friend
I'll help you carry on
For it won't be long
'Til I'm gonna need
Somebody to lean on...
