Found this wee gem of a spot whilst making our way through the Leadhills towards Wanlockhead 24/06/16
A warm room and a brightly-lit tree viewed through leaded-glass windows of a Tudor Revival home on Urwiler Avenue.
This, as the title says, was the lead pack. The guy in the middle, 28, is Devon Kershaw, from Canada. He ended up placing 5th, 1.6 seconds behind the gold medalist. He was clearly very upset, but this is an amazing finish for the Canadian Team. We are never expected to do well in these events. However, 5 years ago our government started the "Own the Podium" program. They pumped money into sports, and just look what it has done. 14 Gold medals! The most ever at the Winter Olympics. I would say that is OWNING THE PODIUM!
Lead, Kindly Light, amid the encircling gloom Lead Thou me on! The night is dark, and I am far from home- Lead Thou me on!

These are .22 Cal pellets for my pellet rifle, which is another hobby of mine that got too expensive. Pointed pellets like these are used for hunting small game animals like rabbits, squirrels, pigeons, and sometimes raccoons! Of course I've never tried hunting small game animals and have only shot targets but they could be very fun!

British Ambassador Jamie Bowden presented certificates to youth who took part in the British Embassy's Practice and Lead Environmental Project, in his Residence on 30 June 2010. Five date palm trees were also planted in the Embassy's grounds and dedicated to each of the teams that took part in the project.
In November 2009 Smart Coaching launched it’s latest partnership with the British Embassy. Running a series of youth workshops, the programme aimed to develop youth project management skills and, at the same time, aimed to highlight issues relating to the environment in Bahrain in an interesting and engaging way. Smart Coaching worked with five teams that have developed the innovative projects including a children's song, an e-newsletter and a short video film, all aimed at raising awareness on environmental issues. The final projects can be seen on here final projects
