Here is a lead ingot, or possibly a weight, cast from the bowl of a spoon. The shape would suggest a Georgian or Victorian era tea spoon has been used. Such finds are not uncommon, but their actual purpose is uncertain. One theory is that they were used as weights, this particular example weighing 26g. Another possibility is that they are ingots made from left over molten lead, from casting lead musket balls for example. Note the raised ridge dividing the area up into two, possibly reflecting a double pour during casting.

The Bellefonatine Chieftains Middle School 8th grade Girls team faced the Wapakoneta Warriors in basketball. The Lady Chiefs came out strong leading the game until the fourth period, the 1st period was close 4-3 Chiefs advantage. A 10-0 run in the second gave the Lady Chiefs a 14-3 lead and the feeling of running away with a win. The Lady Warriors kept the 3rd period close 4-5, cutting in the deficit for a 19-7 score. The 4th period was all Warrior basketball on a 12- 0 run they tied the game on a free throw 20 -20. The overtime was a battle as the Warriors went up by one as the clock was running down. The lady Chiefs hit two free throws for the win as time was running out; with no time to score the Bellefontaine 8th Grade Girls won the game 21-20.

Kazmir did not figure in the game decision as the Rays rallied to take the lead after he left the game in the sixth inning. Scott E. Kazmir was born on January 24, 1984 in Houston, Texas and begins his major league career in 2004 with the Rays (called the "Devil Rays' at that time.
