This is a macro shot of part of the Windows Start button, as displayed on a 22-inch LCD monitor. The button comprises a logo and the word Start on a green background (see inset).

I reverse mounted my old Olympus OM 35-70 mm f/3.5-4.5 lens onto my Nikon D90 with the aid of a reversing ring which I bought today. With the lens mounted backwards in this manner it becomes capable of producing macro shots.

The macro shot shows how the LCD panel displays the color white using red, green and blue pixels, as well as the shape of each pixel.

Hay TV o pantallas de LCD o plasma TFT etc... que tienen un tubo fluorescente en su interior que es el encargado de iluminar la pantalla en si misma, ese tubo se alimenta con alta tensión y es muy frecuente ver como se dessuelda el conector por donde le llega la corriente.

They have a few LCD TV's towards the back so during services those who are in the way back can still see what is going on up front. I have not seen this in old churches or cathedrals before. I know they were not there in '05 when I was there.

I know the rule of 3rds isn't really being adhered to in this photo - however the bright reflection on the sea does tend to draw the eye that way (I think) so maybe it's helped balance it?

It looked a bit brighter on an LCD that it does on a CRT - But I think I like it being that dark.

Seems to be so. Here it is working normally with that library.
