I got me a new toy.
I had to say goodbye to my trusty D7100 (cropped sensor) though. Now that was a fantastic camera! So, I've only taken a few shots with this 10-year-old flagship, but boy, does it perform! At ISO 3200, it easily matches my D750!
This D3 will, from now on, be my walk-around-camera, along with my favourite lens: the Sigma ART 35mm 1.4.
Now to think about the weekend; more specifically: how to surgically-attach this beast to my right eyelid...
This week we did a lightpaint session in a park where a waterfall is located. We had loads of fun and created some great images.
Throw back to when I went shooting at Ogden point with a friend. Stumbled acoss this in the collection and just liked how the sunset popped on the horizon. A rare moment without anyone on the walkway as well.

When you can't sleep, you get up and head to the lagoon. Wandered down there before sunrise and played around with lazy shutters and high dynamic range. I had fun trying to capture the ocean reaching for the sky.

This is a throwback from when I was out at Saxe Point with my friend Pacific Photo. I wasn't able to make it out this weekend as planned so I was going back through some old folders editing shots. Really like how this one turned out.
