This layout is a combination of prompts 9 and 10 for "There's No Place Like Home. I realized that my favorite corners were also the spaces where I felt most at home.
Underside of layout. Thick ply was to allow a large section of the foam to pivot - the ply now holds it back in place and only the thin track plate moves.... keep it simple!
Hope you weren't thinking of coming to stay - our spare bed has disappeared under this massive sheet of chipboard and train layout. R spent most of Tuesday afternoon voluntarily trying to fix something that didn't work - he seems to have mechanic instincts.
We have actual x-rays too. And test tubes which we will fill with colored liquids. And a table and chair from the props room for now - we might get different ones if we can but we are very happy with these as they are. And we are going to hook up a screen for the heart rate monitor and have it connected to Martina's laptop under the bed, which will be playing a video of the heart rate monitorness [with audio]. Then also under the bed will be Max's laptop connected to a projector to play the other video which we have made of images/video clips of old hospital scenes and such. And then also we will have the audio of the nurse's voice either under the bed or in the rafters a bit to the more outer general area within this alcove [more ideal this way b/c then it sounds like more of a PA system]
layout for cybercrop challenge on Keep'n the Memories. It's about reminding myself that everything about being a mum is a blessing, even the really difficult stuff.
