For this Layout I cut out the Hambly into the shape you see. I layered paper beind the green by hand drawing the same shape and cutting it out. I did the same for the negative space with the white poka dot paper. A brown ink pad was used to add texture to the white poka dots, and a small orange circle was attached in each center with brown fabric paint.

So, I've taken to DS for PCB layouts, it seems simple enough to use in my limited application. (Single sided boards, all through hole, iron on traces, kitchen etching)
Autoroute is incredibly stupid, but there is something relaxing about laying out a single sided board, its like a puzzle. I try to make as few jumper wires on top as possible. Sometimes I have dreams about layouts though.

The Imperial residences and administrative buildings would have been in the next area over to the east.
Still amazes me how much empty space there was. Surely there must have been something filling this space, right? Maybe a market, full of stalls?
Looking down on Froggy's. The skylights show stocked shelves and people inside. Was nice till the chipmunk thought so too.

09/27/2010 - Castle Wernigerode
The original castle on this site was built in the 1300's and went through many different embodiments and changes. In the 1860's a significant portion of the original castle was torn down.
Between 1862-1893 Carl Frueling changed the former style to incorporate the rounded castle into a more modern vision. He added terrace gardens near the castle, an elevated garden area, a three part tunnel vault, and an enlarged balcony with a Harz mountain view.
in 1930, the family donated the castle to be used as a museum castle, which it still remains today.
