I'm putting together an album for December 2009 and did this whole layout this evening. (Thanks for the encouragement, Lain!)
Supplies: card stock (green: Bazzill Basics; white: Recollections); watermark ink (Versamark); Vintage Ornaments stamps (Papertrey Ink); Thickers letters (American Crafts), Flair button, chipboard tree and ornament (all American Crafts Merrymint collection)

I made this pic up to show the layout of the pipelines and dumping stations in the bush, as well as the location of the sugar shed.
The laneway from the road through the bush is primarily used to access the field that the bush borders along its south edge. The drainage ditch is more of an intermittent watercourse that is fed by drainage tiles from the field and surface water...it usually only runs fro a short time in the spring when the snow melts.
I drew the images of the women and the flowers onto acetate, and coloured them in using glaze pens and souffle pens. Then cut around them and adhered them to the layout.
The photo is of some tulips that were given to me. My vases are in the shape of a boot and a bag.

did you know that the Haunted Mansion is the only attraction to be in different spots in each of the various theme parks (Paris, Land, WDW, and Tokyo??)
Anyhow, one day I'll do a layout about THM - a thing we all love to do at Disney, but not today.
For those of you that may remember, I was talking about splurging at the beginning of the month on Echo Park's Halloween line. I went in today to pick up my kit and it called my name all too clearly - especially with Halloween coming and the idea of using the Haunted Mansion on one of my Disney layouts . . . oh well. I only bought 4 sheets so I did quite well there. ;)
