ich habe mich ziemlich an die anleitungen von felicitas gehalten ... da ich sonst nicht mit so kräftigen farben und farbmaterialien arbeite, bin da eher so die "schlichte" *g*

ich bin vom ergebnis jedoch total begeistert ... ich glaube solch einen arbeitsplatz (nein ... den zeige ich euch lieber nicht *) werde ich jetzt häufiger hinterlassen :D

So I'm working on layout now. I think I like this font most (Century Gothic)...thoughts on the font?

What works best? Probably we'll end up using it in multiple layouts when its all said and done but I want to have a set "standard logo".

Also ready for colors? What are good color schemes to think about? My previous couple files had some color options....a blue & yellow option, a sage green, whats working these days? whats not?

{Journaling}

I am so lucky to have this set of pictures taken of my grandparents from their young adult years. On this particular occassion they had taken a fun weekend get-a-way with friends of theirs, Elwood and Arla Hassinger. It had not been foretold at that time, but years later, the Hassingers became family. My grandparents had my dad, who in later years, married my mom, who was a niece of the Hassingers. Perhaps this is why these photos appeal to me so much! I get a glimpse into the past of two sides of our family. Looking at these pictures brings a sense of humbleness about them. Here I see them in a different light... relaxed and jovial, living in the moment. This was them... before they were my grandparents!
