The Launch 22v is the perfect combination of size, refinement and performance. This 22.5-foot wakeboard boat welcomes a crew of 15 with room for gear and an interior geared toward luxurious accommodation. Completely redesigned for 2012, the 22V interior brings together intricate sections of multi-textured Syntec Nanoblock vinyls with the durability of exclusive Gore Tenara thread. Triple density foam construction makes the Launch interior as comfortable as it is eye-catching. Supra has made the high-traffic path from the lounge to the swim step worry-free with a newly tooled rear seat step and transom walk-over covered in SeaDeck no-slip padding. The wakes are pro caliber and controllable with cockpit switch or the VISION dash, but the 22V is as much about the drive as it is the ride. Slicing through rough water with flat precise turns, the 22V is exhilarating to drive. The high and slow speed maneuvers are almost as impressive as you will look pulling them off. Available with a walk-through bow as a Sunsport or with the Launch playpen, the 22V captures your water sports boating lifestyle.

Launch-Entry Suit
Space Shuttle
The Launch-Entry Suit was a partial-pressure suit worn by Space Shuttle astronauts to protect against loss of cabin pressure during ascent and descent. Introduced after the 1986 Challenger accident, it was used until the late 1990s, when the full pressure Advanced Crew Escape Suit was phased out.
Informally called the "pumpkin suit" for its bright color, it pressurized at 3.2 pounds per square inch, and the inflated internal bladder exerted mechanical pressure on the crewmember's body. The helmet visor and neck dam were pressure seals, but the gloves were not; they connected to the suit by a tube and needle valve. The Launch-Entry Suit included an integrated "g-suit" to prevent blood from pooling in the lower body during reentry. The vest-like harness worn over the suit contained a parachute, breathing air tank, and survival gear for an emergency bail-out.
This suit was never worn in space. The gloves, boots and harness were worn in training or flight. All launch-entry helmets are still in use in NASA's inventory of flight gear.

The 7th London Korean Film Festival now bigger and bolder than ever before will begin in earnest on 1st November 2012, our festival owes so much to the wonderful support that UK audiences have shown the festival and the KCCUK over the years.
This year we will present an array of thrilling, funny, thought provoking and insightful films, totalling 38 amazing events. With the extravagance of our big features such as the Opening Gala: The Thieves, The Weight, Barefoot Dreams and ‘As One, Korea’ there are also the small, more personal features such as White Night. This powerful film explores the intolerances still existing in contemporary Korean society and the violence that intolerance often creates.
Since the success of last year’s Animation section we have also selected a number of great animated features for 2012. Included in the section is PADAK, a fish out of water story, Katuri - A Story of a Mother Bird and one definitely not for children, King of Pigs. This violent, morality tale of youths battling against the oppressive rich kids has travelled to some of the biggest and best film festivals in the world including Cannes.
Following the banner sports year London has had, and the great success Korea had at the Olympics we will be celebrating the inspirational sports dramas such as the true story of the first ever unified Korean Table Tennis Team in 1986 starring HA Ji-won and BAE Doo-na in As One, Korea. We would also like to welcome back the Mise-en-Scene Short Film Festival selection which has a number of fascinating films from up and coming Korean talent.
As is with every year the festival will take the best of the London selection on tour around the UK. This year we are pleased to travel to Bristol, Bournemouth and Glasgow.
We woke up at 5am two mornings in a row to watch the hot air balloons launch into the sky. The first day was a bust, I think the winds were too high and the launch was cancelled. Luckily, the second day the hot air balloons were given the green light to set sail. It was great being able to walk up close to all the hot air balloons as they were being set up...sometimes I got close enough to feel the blast of the flame giving the hot air to the balloons.

Watching Space shuttle launches is not really my thing but when my friend Paul Aughey set the trip up, how could I pass on going to Florida. The day before the launch, they predicted a 30% chance of a successful launch because of a tropical weather system passing through the area. Paul found a viewing access about seven miles to the north in Mosquito Lagoon (appropriately named I might add). Hundreds if not thousands of fellow kayakers and canoers lined the channel under the watchful eye of the U.S. Coast Guard. I have to admit I got kinda teary-eyed when the thing took off. I think the coolest thing was about 90 seconds after it took off this incredible thunderous roar reached us. It sounded and vibrated like heavy thunder but it lasted for minutes. It was amazing. Too bad my longest lens was on a 300 mm.

Greater Manchester is taking a stand against child sexual exploitation with a groundbreaking new campaign.
Greater Manchester Police, Police and Crime Commissioner Tony Lloyd, health organisations, the ten local authorities and the voluntary sector are working together to target perpetrators and to educate young people and their carers on the warning signs of child sexual exploitation and how to get help.
Today (Friday 19 September), a new website has been launched – www.itsnotokay.co.uk – which contains information for children, young people, parents, carers and professionals on how to spot the signs of child sex exploitation and what to do about it.
The launch of the It’s Not Okay campaign follows a week of action across Greater Manchester to tackle child sex exploitation; a week which consisted of education and empowerment of young people, but also the detection and disruption of CSE-related activity, which saw three warrants executed and 19 arrests made across the seven days.
High visibility patrols have taken place in Manchester City Centre and surrounding areas, with over two thousand children spoken to by specially trained officers. During these approaches the young people were advised about CSE and keeping themselves safe. Those who were identified as being vulnerable were taken to their home or a place of safety.
The rest of the week saw a number of inputs with professionals in the hospitality sector and other industries, as well as multi-agency visits to 'premises of interest' across Greater Manchester such as pubs, off licenses and takeaways.
A series of school visits and educational lessons have also taken place, with a mixture of officer inputs and a viewing of award-winning and thought-provoking CSE production ‘Somebody’s Sister, Somebody’s Daughter’ by GW Theatre.
Police and Crime Commissioner Tony Lloyd is also writing to every high school and college in Greater Manchester to make them aware of the campaign and urge them to act if they are worried about a young person.
Assistant Chief Constable Dawn Copley said:
“Tackling the sexual exploitation of children and young people is an absolute priority for Greater Manchester Police and its partners. Protecting children is everyone’s responsibility and it is crucial that we work together to identify and prosecute individuals who prey on vulnerable children.
“Historically mistakes have been made; however, we are more determined than ever to get it right. It is crucial that the children of Greater Manchester understand what child sexual exploitation is, to recognise when this happening to them, and that it is NOT okay. We want children to know that they will be believed and that we will do everything in our power to protect and help them.
“I want to reassure our communities that we have, and will continue to hunt out offenders who prey on some of the most vulnerable in our society and urge anyone with any information or concerns to come to us - we will take action."
Police and Crime Commissioner Tony Lloyd said:
“Child sexual exploitation is a scourge on our communities and we all have a responsibility to protect our children and young people. Despite the recent media coverage around this issue it is still a hidden problem and it’s common sense for all agencies to work together with communities to eradicate it.
“By raising awareness and educating people about the warning signs of child sex exploitation we can encourage people to speak out and all play a part in keeping our children safe.”
Mike Livingstone, Chair of Manchester Safeguarding Partnership, said:
"This is a massively important issue and we shouldn't be afraid to talk about it. Child sexual exploitation is child abuse and it ruins lives.
"Children at risk don't recognise local authority boundaries and abusers often deliberately manipulate these - so it's vital that we work together across local authority areas to tackle it.
“Through Project Phoenix we're determined to do everything we can at a regional level to educate, prevent, and ultimately protect young people from this most serious form of child abuse."
Gary Murray, Crimestoppers North West Regional Manager, said:
“The independent charity Crimestoppers are delighted to support this campaign. Each year we receive over 2,000 pieces of information with regard to sexual offences and we would encourage anyone with information to contact the charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
For more information on child sexual exploitation and who to contact if you have any concerns that a young person you know may be a victim of child sexual exploitation visit www.itsnotokay.co.uk.
You can also report it to Greater Manchester Police by calling 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. If someone is in immediate danger, dial 999.
