A medium sized jewelry chest in solid quarter sawn white oak, finished with oil and wax. The chest features are top grain leather faced bottom panel and a hand forged latch.

An unidentified mechanism in the bed of an old truck near the Wall Street Mill in Joshua Tree National Park. I think it might be a latching mechanism since the wood it's attached to is about the same size as the door and there are coil springs on the other side of both gears.
