I was obsessed with latch hook rugs a few years back and created a bunch of fun little purses. I've been getting requests to revive them but not sure if that will happen. In the meantime, you can check out this photo.
i felt like i was doing it a disservice photo-wise. it's so rad. i had half a dozen people in mind who would have taken a much better picture.
Old latches on the kitchen cupboards--a few still worked. All were covered with layers of paint. They're off the cupboards now and being stripped The bright, working latches will add authentic detail to the kitchen, but the effort to get them there will not be appreciated, I'm sure.
Built in the late 1800s. I think I was told it was a jeweler's and at one time a printer rented the side room. At some point it also housed the Sister's of Pythias Lodge. The building sits off the street behind a small park.
