Like the contemporary Leica lenses, you press the button on the tab to release the lens for focusing. But the latch is not part of the lens itself - a button on the front of the camera body inserts into a hole behind the button on the tab to lock the lens in place. Pushing the button on the lens pushes the locking button out of the hole to disengage it.

The 3rd annual BIG Latch On convenes Saturday, August 6th at 10 am on the shores of Sportsman Lake Park in Cullman.
Cullman County nursing mothers will gather to breastfeed their babies in a supportive, lactation-friendly environment. The organizers of this event invite all area lactating moms as well as their friends, family, and community to come out and participate in the cause.
The BIG Latch On is an annual, global event that celebrates, promotes and supports breastfeeding.
The larger goal of the global BIG Latch On movement is to normalize breastfeeding. There is a worldwide synchronization latch from 10:30 to 10;31 am Cullman time. Groups of nursing moms and their supporters around the world either latch their babies, express milk or feed breast milk by spoon to their babies all at the exact same time.
Last year, the global BIG Latch On had 36,502 total attendees with 15,336 of them being breastfeeding women.
The global BIG Latch On also acknowledges and supports moms who pump breast milk. They can participate in the event simply by expressing their milk either by hand or by pump along with the group counts.
This gathering will occur near the main stage at Sportsman Lake Park.

UP 8210 backs up and clanks against the buffer car. They'll soon be heading out off the City of Rochelle Railroad yard, and head east to deliver these to METRA.
