this is a part of a system that controls the flow of water in a canal, allowing a boat to pass up to a higher level, or down to a lower level of a canal. The latch stops or starts the mechanism working. this was taken at todays flickmeet and is also for todays ODC

Pizza Planet was the first thing that popped into my head.
This one has some interesting characteristics, like the door latch on the driver door to keep it locked beause the keyhole is gone. Also this one has a real short bed, shorter than the green one I spotted in my driveway. Must be a low spec example.

This is the iron latch and aged lock on a small Mausoleum, dated 1891. Located in the Ipava Cemetery. Ipava, IL.
