Growing up, my Mother always seemed to notice people's eyes and teeth. It wasn't long before I started doing the same thing myself.
My family all had brown eyes and short stubby lashes. So I just knew that when I had children that's what I would end up with as well. I also knew they'd all be blonde with hair straight as a board.
From the beginning my little Sadie bug has thrown me for a curve. She came out with a head full of dark hair, at least full for one of MY babies. Her hair also has some curl to it. Not as much now as when she was a baby but it's definitely still there, especially if it's humid and her little face is framed with sweet wild curls.
And then there are her lashes. Where on earth did they come from?! I remember this past Halloween I put mascara on her and Eli walked in and said, "Wow. Nice fake lashes." Nope, not fake. This is what God gave her!
It's funny how that works. How you expect one thing and are pleasantly surprised when things go differently.
And that whole brown eye thing? That didn't happen either. Madi has the most beautiful blue eyes and all 3 of the other kids have different colors of brown/hazel. Wow!

"A noite ela é a minha maldição, porém continua sendo a minha casa, meu lar sem chances de escapar... mas uma coisa que penso, como a noite é tão bela, a ponto de deixar todo este navio iluminado, cheio de memórias, cheio de beleza"
I happened to notice this car with eyelashes above the headlights yesterday and couldn't resist snapping it. You'll notice that the license plate has been embellished with paint; I suspect the Department of Motor Vehicles frowns on that!
One of the best and well motivated video shared by Steven lash on Medicare regulations. He is one of the leading medicare advisory in the USA. I must say, Must watched video for all the people of world, Who really care about his/her health.
I've got a thing for shadows. Just last night, in fact, I was walking with Jamie through Hoboken, D80 and fiddy slung over my shoulder, when I saw a tempting gate & shadow sitch to my left. I kept walking forward while keeping my eye on it as we passed by, my mind determining if it was worth stopping to shoot or not.... when SLAM - I walked directly into a parking meter.
Jamie: "Are you ok??? Can I laugh?"
not my most glamourous shooting moment. It ranks right up there with getting my right leg swallowed by the Hudson River.
But speaking of glamorous shooting moments - here's Marina taking a gander at a sun-drenched tree in Cambridge a couple of weeks ago. She found something to shoot, and clearly, so did I.

Although Rach looks as though she is in pain, She was actually laughing her head off. We were at a post gig party in a hotel room and Rach decided to curl her lashes. For some reason, this was hilarious.
