50mm lens reverse mounted as a macro. This is one of the ones I focused myself.
Ideally it needs greater DOF as I didn't get any shots with both lashes and iris in focus, but did this indoors with the ISO already at 400 and it was hard to keep perfectly still for any longer!
Today I discovered that I had won the Fire Mountain Beads & Gems - Grand Prize Winner - Presidents Award in the Crystal Jewelry Category. See all the winners with this link .. www.firemountaingems.com/galleryofdesigns/jewelry_design_...
lashes, lashes, and lashes. I used to have a lot more. the two single pairs on the end I custom made with rhinestones.
LASHES AFTER RESTO. Barbie's left eye shows little improvement, while her right eye lashes are greatly improved!
here you can kind of see where the knots of the flares should sit among your natural lashes. if properly applied they'll be nestled in right at the lashline between your real eyelashes, and you shouldn't be able to feel them at all. if the knot of the flare is touching the waterline of your upper eyelid, it needs to be adjusted.
I drive by this great bldg., with its wonderful lettering, almost every day and today had a chance to park and take a shot or two. Just now, looking up info on the hatchery, I'm not coming up with much. Petaluma was a BIG chicken town for years, and there are signs of hatcheries all over the place, most are now used for other purposes. I would have tho't the lettering was from the 20's or 30's, but the info I came up with just says "1947". I'll look for more stuff about this place and get back to you. After I failed miserably at making bubbles, a sleepy little brown eye came sneaking up the stairs and saved the day... before getting carried back to bed. She was sleepy but wiggly so my focus is a little off, getting the lashes more than the iris.
I bought these lashes ages ago and I can't get them to stay on or look right. They are the stupidest things ever!
