How the hell does a cell know what to do or be?
straight out of the camera - Laser pointer and electric glow stick.
June 2019. Pentax Espio and expired Colorama 400ASA film.
I put the camera on self-timer, with no flash, and I was inside in the evening when the light was low. I then pulled out the laser pointer and shone it all around the room - when the self-timer opened the shutter it captured the random patterns I was making.
My first attempt at the DIY Bokeh wall. Switched to one of my most treasured items. A custom-made Star Wars Imperial Crest in a ring made of stainless steel, ceramic and black diamond. One further addition, the Darth Vader laser pointer I usually use to play with the cats.
Hey guys, here I want to present you a MOC of the spanish netflix series la casa de papel ( Money Heist or Haus des Geldes) The series revolves a long-prepared, multiple-day assault on the Royal Spint of Spain. The scene shows that the National Police Corps launch an attack and go into the Mint (through the warehouse). The corps use laser pointer on their weapons and 2 robbers (Tokio and Denver) hide behind some boxes.
What do you think ? I know it is no Star Wars MOC but I want to build it because I'm a big fan of this netflix series. So I would be pleased to get feedback.
Maybe I will start a series of some small Vignettes (with the main characters ) to this netflix series. Should I do it?
Greetings KevFett2011

Auto-generated animated GIF of Bonkers looking very curiously and intently at a laser pointer light. Like Tigger, Bonkers is very curious about the laser pointer.
The circles on the wee-wee mats are to remind us of where Bonkers made a mistake created an obstacle course so we don't step in it to test our mental acuity.

- From that time over #10YearsAgo when I did some abstract photos with a green laser pointer through or reflected off various things such as glass and DVD discs. This one is from a couple of DVD disc I believe and somehow I got a very complex interference pattern projected on the wall. Can the information be recovered from the groups of dots?
It was routine for me. I aimed my laser pointer at the screen during a Powerpoint presentation. This time, it didn't work! Where's the red dot? I was disappointed, but went on talking.
It turned out that a battery had corroded inside the pointer, to the extent that I couldn't even remove the battery!
So, I went to various stores, looking for a new pointer. I discovered that most laser pointers are now built into remote controls for data video projectors! I couldn't find a cheap pointer in a store that sells electronics or office supplies.
I finally went to a pet store and purchased a $5 cat toy! I'm back in business and ready to speak again this morning. Whew!
I didn't know what my new cat toy might do to the sensor of my point-and-shoot, but I decided to take the risk. Here I am, and the camera's fine! I also did nothing to enhance the color or texture of this photo; this is how it turned out.
Now, back to public speaking! We'll see if the cats come running. HSS, everyone!

Pekoe liked to chase the red dot of the laser pointer up the stairs and end with a quite high spring at it on the wall.
Strobist: two flashes, one a little closer than the cat - as much closer as is possible given the geometry of our staircase - shining straight up but spreading to illuminate the proximal aspect. and the other a Canon 430EX on the windowsill left at flying cat shoulder height angled 45 degrees up, back, right. Cactus radio triggers.

On the way home from Yosemite we made a little stop to look at the stars and ended up playing with Art's laser pointer. This magical effect was created by passing the laser's light across the bush during a slow exposure.
Having fun with a laser pointer and slow shutter speeds in a dark hallway. Red is the original color. I tinted the color to blue outside the door frame.
- Another one from that time over #10YearsAgo when I did some abstract photos with a green laser pointer through or reflected off DVD discs. Here is one that looks like a warp speed animation.
Tigger doing her best to capture that really fast, really sneaky red dot that zips about on the floor. She never did catch it but it was great exercise for her and lots of fun as well.
Animated GIF of Tigger chasing the red laser dot on the kitchen floor. It returned and must be chased! Tracy was playing with Tigger who appreciated the fun. (We appreciated her getting exercise.)

I like playing with the kitties with the laser pointer for fun. They have a blast trying to catch it.
ODC - 9/8/2016 - Just For Fun
Last picture of Tigger. Tigger died tonight at about 7:40 JST. She suffered what appeared to be two heart attacks in fast sequence due to lack of oxygen in her blood due to metastasized cancer in her lungs. She was in pain during her heart attacks but lived only a few minutes past them, and was probably insensate. This picture was taken about 45 minutes before she died.
We adopted Tigger from the Sacramento County pound in the spring of 2007 where she was scheduled to be euthanized. After we adopted her, the people there said she was probably 9 months to a year old or so, which would make Tigger not quite 14 years old.
I was playing with the laser pointer, making my cats freak out, when I thought this would make a cool pic. So, does it count as a SP if I'm in the pic but you can't see me? Hey at least it's my name!
This one looks like the alien ships from The War of the Worlds. It even has some of the red, green and black color scheme.
It was just a laser pointer into the camera.
This tends to produce alien artifacts. |-)
...in continuation with my indoor light trails experiment.
A little late for Valentine's day, but better late than never :)
Different materials and material properities demand different tools. Zünd creasing tools are designed to process a wide range of materials with a variety of crease wheels.
The P-14, commonly known as Zhret-Uket, replaced the P-12 as the Serconasian service pistol for the police, support units of the military and as a sidearm for the specialized units of the military.
The P-14 holds 12 rounds in a doublestacked magazine.
The shown accessory are a 24 round doublestacked magazine, a collapseable stock with recoil buffer, a battery-powered laserpointer, a sound suppressor with sttachment point for a foregrip or the mentioned laserpointer and finally a reflex sight with the possibility to magnify 1.5x.

Zhret-Uket means 'fire bringer'.
Here's my third Handheld Panarama Laserpointer system for 8mm fisheye lenses and it's confession time. Although I uploaded a picture of a HaPaLa 2 in March I have never actually used it for my Flickr panoramas !
The more than 100 equirectangular panoramas since I uploaded were taken with the above. So it has been well tested. Heiwa4126 who uses one kindly says "HaPaLa is great. I can take 360x180 HDR panoramas like snapshots."
Features include a strong (red) laser easy to see in the brightest sunshine (with an on-off switch at the end) and a simplified construction with plans which would seem to fit any slr camera,
This collage shows the positioning ring in use with two kinds of target.
There is more info about HaPaLas here.
Naomi was making her lunch and the cats were pestering her so I distracted them with a laser pointer chase. I made a slow motion video of Archie chasing the laser dot...
Light painting over an ink painting derived from a vector graphic based on Stan the Man's illustration of the ancient carver's motifs. Straight from RAW with some tweaking of shadow tint.
Animated GIF of Tigger pawing the futon's blanket as Tracy shots the laser pointer around, giving Tigger a lot of exercise. Tracy returned home yesterday, making Tigger miss her new friend...
The KG-17 is the current Serconasian service rifle and was introduced into service replacing the older KG-15.
The bullpup rifle holds a magazine for 30 rounds of 5.56x45mm.
At the top the V2 is shown with it´s laser sights instead of the earlier combination of flip-up iron sights and laserpointer (V1).
At the bottom the DMR-variant (KG17VS) is shown with a longer barrel and a scope adjustable from 3x up to 9x zoom. A bipod is usually added by not included in the picture.
The safety system allows for single and automatic fire.

Any feedback is appreciated as it´s one of my "more recent" builds and also took me a bit longer.
