Laser Works 2010: “Build a sculpture, a piece of art, a model, machine or a piece of furniture which tests the potential for the use of new prototype technology.”

Each team had 5m2 of plywood, free use of our lasercutters and 24 hours over the course of two weeks.

The creative designs from our second round of "soda bottle spacecraft" were amazing. Participants got to use the laser cutter, Dremel and recycled and 3D-printed parts to make fanciful creations.

#iCO | Digital Fabrication Workshop

A proposta do Clube Maker de Setembro foi explorar o universo do Mobiliário Digital, uma das áreas mais tradicionais do design de produtos. Ao longo do clube, exploramos o uso de diversas ferramentas de código aberto para desenhar e prototipar projetos, tendo a fabricação digital como ponto de partida para uma pesquisa individual de cada participante.

O Clube foi facilitado pela designer Luisa Fosco e pelo artista Fernando Daguanno e contou com a parceria da Cobra CNC.

For one of the "Teen Tech Week" projects in the Innovation Lab, teens had a chance to combine graphics software, laser cutting and simple circuits to create customized LED nametags.

Before the Hamilton Wayzgoose, I had the mind-bending experience of a weekend workshop with Dafi Kuhne and learning techniques of printing using the laser cutter, cardboard, and more!
