I did additionally take some slide film with me to Austria and while I did expose a few more sheets than on my trip to Valais, I still used it sparingly. I was mostly concerned with its limited dynamic range and so stuck to scenes under overcast light where the contrast wasn't overly high. Such conditions are perfect for photographing waterfalls and flowing water, so after bookmarking a couple of locations I liked, I returned to them later in the week once the clouds had rolled in.
In developing I was really quite impressed with the kit from Cinestill. I found it super easy to use and while the colours are less warm than I'd hoped, I really like the way the giant 4x5 positives came out. I'm happy with it and I'll surely be giving it another try in the future.

CSXT's L137 makes it's return journey westbound through Gettysburg, PA after setting out and picking up freight in Hanover, PA, December 2, 2024. They'll pickup interchange freight about a half mile ahead from shortline partner Gettysburg & Northern before heading back to Hagerstown, MD. The pair of 70MACs was a pleasant surprise for this mostly GEVO led local. Unfortunately this entire roll of slide film was damaged in process with absolutely no explanation from the lab as to what actually happened and no compensation offered either. In fact, they never even bothered to mount the slides. I have decided it is now abstract art. Kodak Ektachrome E100, Kodak Retina IIIC.
