Let's all be honest, our hobby is viewed by most outsiders as weird. Some even say creepy. I 'm hesitant to show my dolls to just anyone... because I'm tired of explaining why its not weird....
So maybe I think I have a high weird tollerance, because I love my my BJD's.
Well I ran across this creation... and I'm a tad bit perplexed and would like to know what everyone thinks...
I'm by no means getting this doll. I'm not really a fan of it, but I am very impressed. The features are astonishingly life like... the detail is amazing! Look at those toes and hands...
What creeps ME out is the life like-ness... The blushing on the um... um those parts... (s'cuse the nudity in the bottom left photo but I wanted you to all see the.... definition? Uhg it makes me feel perverted....)
So really, her body shape, is she a toddler or what to all of you? I think, her body shape is rather mature but her face is young... and she's so big! A whopping 80cm tall.
If you go and look her up on Dollmore you can see even more photos, her with a keyboard... its kind of... interesting... I dont want to link to her because I dont want to get in trouble for sales links but if you cant find her FM me and I can help...
My point? What do you gals think? Is she too big for comfort? Does her real-ness freak anyone else out? and if you do love her, would you spend the $1600 + price tag for her (to pull out all the stops - sanding, blushing, etc.)
Can you imagine how many dolls (lati, LF MNF etc) you could get for that amount? And if you had that much to spend on dolls only, and this is just my curiosity, what dolls would you spend it on? I'd go nuts! hahah...
So please share your opinions... I'm just curious!
People who know me are aware I am missing most of the fingers on my right hand. On modern bicycles, this is a big problem as the rear gears are shifted by using actuators on the right brake lever. This has proven to be nearly impossible for me. Over the years, I have experimented with all kinds of solutions, including an early version of electronic shifting (Mavic Mektronic).
This is a custom device, made by Kelly bike parts and is called a 'take off’. Basically it permits me to mount standard bar end shifters on a location near the left brake lever. My left hand is just fine, and from this location, I can shift both the front and rear derailleurs. It works so well, I have actually raced bikes with this setup and ridden in large pack events, shoulder to shoulder with other crazy cyclists.
When I was writing this up, I was going to say I have to be careful with this gizmo, as Kelly had gone out of business due to some unfortunate circumstances. However, as I looked on their old web site to add a link to the story, I discovered they are BACK in BUSINESS! This is great news, because Kelly makes awesome custom frames other cool stuff.
I am glad I featured the ‘Take Off’ in today’s photo, as I am not sure if/when I would have discovered that Kelly had returned from oblivion!

Students participating with the NFL’s Fuel Up to Play 60 program event talk about how they have encourage physical activity in their lives, schools and community, at the Indiana Farm Bureau Football Center, in Indianapolis, IN, on August 8, 2017. Participating in the event is U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue who is on a five-state RV tour, featuring stops in five states: Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, and Indiana; titled the “Back to Our Roots” Tour, he is gathering input on the 2018 Farm Bill and increasing rural prosperity, Aug. 3-8, 2017. Along the way, Perdue will meet with farmers, ranchers, foresters, producers, students, governors, Members of Congress, U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) employees, and other stakeholders. This is the first of two RV tours the secretary will undertake this summer. “The ‘Back to our Roots’ Farm Bill and rural prosperity RV listening tour will allow us to hear directly from people in agriculture across the country, as well as our consumers – they are the ones on the front lines of American agriculture and they know best what the current issues are,” Perdue said. “USDA will be intimately involved as Congress deliberates and formulates the 2018 Farm Bill. We are committed to making the resources and the research available so that Congress can make good facts-based, data-driven decisions. It’s important to look at past practices to see what has worked and what has not worked, so that we create a farm bill for the future that will be embraced by American agriculture in 2018.” For social media purposes, Secretary Perdue’s Twitter account (@SecretarySonny) will be using the hashtag #BackToOurRoots. "You've asked me what the lobster is weaving there with
his golden feet?
I reply, the ocean knows this.
You say, what is the ascidia waiting for in its transparent
bell? What is it waiting for?
I tell you it is waiting for time, like you.
You ask me whom the Macrocystis alga hugs in its arms?
Study, study it, at a certain hour, in a certain sea I know.
You question me about the wicked tusk of the narwhal,
and I reply by describing
how the sea unicorn with the harpoon in it dies.
You enquire about the kingfisher's feathers,
which tremble in the pure springs of the southern tides?
Or you've found in the cards a new question touching on
the crystal architecture
of the sea anemone, and you'll deal that to me now?
You want to understand the electric nature of the ocean
spines?
The armored stalactite that breaks as it walks?
The hook of the angler fish, the music stretched out
in the deep places like a thread in the water?
I want to tell you the ocean knows this, that life in its
jewel boxes
is endless as the sand, impossible to count, pure,
and among the blood-colored grapes time has made the
petal
hard and shiny, made the jellyfish full of light
and untied its knot, letting its musical threads fall
from a horn of plenty made of infinite mother-of-pearl.
I am nothing but the empty net which has gone on ahead
of human eyes, dead in those darknesses,
of fingers accustomed to the triangle, longitudes
on the timid globe of an orange.
I walked around as you do, investigating
the endless star,
and in my net, during the night, I woke up naked,
the only thing caught, a fish trapped inside the wind."

I don’t know when and how the Jewish tombstones were discovered and who decided to move them from a cemetery, where they belong, but now they are in an abandoned spot behind the municipal swimming pool of Stara Zagora. Weeds and all kind of plants grow around them, the teenagers from thee neighboring high school use them for graphiti drawing board, and the local Jewish community (one of the largest, supposedly in Bulgaria), doesn’t move a finger. The only good thing is that the area where the tombstone are is just in front of the Regional Headquarters of the Bulgarian Police – hardly a place where you can go with a truck and steal the tombstones.
I hope that with me posting the pictures, somebody who cares about their cultural and historic heritage will do something. I am not a Jew, but I think that nobody’s tombstone should be left for destroying and that such pieces of stone art should be left without supervision or conservation.
From Wikipedia
A Sephardi is a Jew with family origins in the Iberian Peninsula (modern Spain and Portugal). This includes both the descendants of Jews expelled from Spain under the Alhambra decree of 1492, or from Portugal by order of King Manuel I in 1497 and the descendants of crypto-Jews who left the Peninsula in later centuries. In modern times, the term has also been applied to Jews who may not have been born Sephardi (or even Jewish) but attend Sephardic temples and practice Sephardic traditions. Today there are around 12,000 Jews in Spain and 500 in Portugal.[1]
The name comes from Sepharad , a Biblical location.[2] This was probably the "Saparda" mentioned in Persian inscriptions: the location of that is disputed, but may have been Sardis in Asia Minor. "Sepharad" was identified by later Jews as the Iberian Peninsula, and still means "Spain" in modern Hebrew.
Prior to 1492, substantial Jewish populations existed in most Spanish provinces. Among the more prominent were in Toledo, Córdoba, and Granada. Smaller towns such as Ocaña, Guadalajara, Bentrago, and Almazan were founded or inhabited principally by Jews. Castile, Aranda, Ávila, Calahorra, Cuellar, Herrera, Medina, Segovia, Soria, and Villalon were home to large Jewish communities. Aragon and Catalonia had substantial Jewish communities in the famous Calls of Girona, Barcelona, Tarragona, Valencia and Palma de Mallorca.
Following the 1492 expulsion from Spain, and the subsequent expulsions in Portugal (1497), these Jews, the nascent Sephardim, settled mainly in Morocco, the Ottoman Empire (modern-day Turkey, Greece, Bulgaria, Southwest Asia, North Africa and Bosnia and Herzegovina), southern France, Italy, Spanish North America, (Southwest United States and Mexico), Spanish South America and the Philippines and Portuguese Brazil, as well as the Netherlands (whence a number of families continued on to the former Dutch possessions of Curaçao, Suriname and Aruba), England, Germany, Denmark, Austria and Hungary.
As a result of the Jewish exodus from Arab lands, many of the Sephardim from the Middle East relocated to either Israel or France, where they form a significant portion of the Jewish communities today. Other significant communities also exist in New York City, Argentina, and Montreal, Canada.

Should know the name of this flower but I don't. Just bought them from the supermarket because I wanted something to photograph.
Thank you Julie Carter for informing me that it is a gerberas.
Just not really up close and personal otherwise I'd have been cheating on the woman I was trying to maintain a relationship with.
Dating - might as well just permanently wave a red flag in the air due to not having any time available for dating (since I am never available for Fri or Sat night date nights or weekends in general) due t work and family commitments and save all the second guessing.
At least that way women can just bypass me by default and there's no need to pretend to share any interest in each other. Problem solver!
Those who know me know that I love cake. This particular one is from my favourite cake shop in Montreal, Cocoa Locale. All of the cakes are made, and decorated with flower petals, by the wonderfully friendly Reema Singh herself.
(I promise that this is not a paid promotion. I just really like cake.)

I know, not the sharpest photo this. But this is a White-spotted Bluethroat! A robin with a blue bib! Rare in Denmark and a "first" for Sis and me (we both captured it, but as usual, Sis did best...)
Graham Lunn
I have know Graham since 2011. He and I met through St Marks Church. (There seems to be a theme here…). He was the curate for St Marks and All Saints Churches in Reading. He was nice to me, we were friends.
Graham and I became closer in the summer of 2012 when I was taking my GCSEs. It made sense to ask him to help me with my RE revision, and, regardless of being incredibly busy, he obliged.
He and I then met up for coffee to talk about things, and for this, I am incredibly grateful.
Graham and I currently live a 9-minute car ride away from each other.
We are going to soon live 3 hours and 29 minutes away from each other.
I think that this is the hardest set of photographs of the series. I say this because he is the only person in the project that isn’t currently living far away or that I haven’t seen for a while, he is moving away to Norfolk in two and a bit weeks.
Before today happened, I was incredibly nervous. Not because anything has happened, but mainly because this would be the last time we had a cup of tea together before he does move away. One of the most constant things that would happen, our coffee in Starbucks once every two weeks - three months, depending on how busy either of us was. (Funnily enough, I am writing this in the Starbucks we used to meet in.)
This coffee every few weeks was a really good thing for me, the chance to talk openly about things and somehow he would retain the stuff I told him months ago, I don’t really understand how he could do it, especially after spending the two and a bit hours with him today.
There was also an element of me expecting a dog collar today. When he sees me, we sit and talk and the dog collar usually comes off half way through. I always find this really reassuring… I find it as a way of him really genuinely being relaxed around me. The fact there was no dog collar today was nice. (He also couldn’t be bothered to change and put it on, also fair enough.)
We went on the walk, as is necessary with this project, around Reading. Cold and very windy (silly idea to wear a skirt, mine, not his…) We walked down to Downshire Square and around the church and past the school.
Working with All Saints Primary School was something that Graham thrived doing, “Oh no, it’s school kicking out time… I don’t exist, I am invisible..”
When we walked past all of the kids and the parents leaving school for the day, it was plain to see how much he was adored by the kids. “Fr Crayon” as he is known to them, couldn’t help but high-five the children, talk to them, ask them how their days were. There was so much of a friendship between him and these young children it was so nice to see.
Graham and I carried on, just talking. It is real friendship between he and I as well, it doesn’t and hasn’t ever felt forced and wasn’t ever apparent if it was. For this, I am eternally grateful.
It’s really hard to know he is going. He is going to be so, so missed. The abundance of “Sorry you’re leaving” and “good luck with your new job” cards that were placed over his sideboard in the hall was sentiment to how loved he is in Reading. My, very stupid, “Look how ugly Reading is, how could you want to leave?” card looked a little out of place as it sat next to the beautifully designed cards with beautiful font. I feel like it was appreciated regardless to how hideous it was, the message inside was still the same.
Before I left, Graham was in another room and I did nearly nearly cry, but I held it together because he was trying to kick me out… Fair enough as he was seeing someone else, and he’d already let me stay half an hour longer than we’d agreed.
The headshot in this series was so hard. It was a slight stalling tactic, and I had forgotten to do it, but never the less, I was a little choked up. “I’m dewey eyed because of the wind” didn’t help me…
Graham knows some really really rubbish things about me, but it never changed his approach to talking to me I guess. He listens but he, in the same way that Paul did, distracts me from the hard stuff just long enough for it not to matter to me for the time that we’re together.
Typing this now is making me cry. Maybe it’s because I am stupidly sat in at the table and chairs we sit together for our coffee in, maybe it’s because I still, despite being told months ago I can’t quite get my head round the fact it’s not going to be him in Baker Street anymore. But, I am safe in the knowledge that he is not going to get rid of me that easily.
I also know that he is going to be loved in Walsingham. They are so incredibly lucky to be getting him too. If it was up to me, he’d never leave, but I feel the same about all the people in this series. They would never have left my life for whatever reason. They have, but it also goes to show that a real friendship, nothing will change that. (Ryan Sozling, Graham)
Graham: You bloody hard working man, I am going to miss you with all of my heart. I am so sad to see you going. I know that you are so loved here in Reading, by everyone at the Nags, by St Marks, by All Saints, by the kids at the schools, anyones life that you have been in, even if for just an evening at the pub, they remember you. You are such a kind soul and I am so thankful for everything you’ve done for me.
I wish you all the best. Walsingham is SO lucky to get you. As you know, I’d keep you here forever if I could.
Never forget, people are idiots, except you and I.
I know that Christmas has passed, but today i found a nice Christmas tree on my way so i thought "why not to take a pic, since you're here in front of me?" :)
I like the italian touch of the flag reflected, completely unnoticed and unintentional :P

You know what REALLY makes me feel old? When I told this little girl that I liked her outfit and that it reminded me of Slim Goodbody (a children's show I used to watch as a kid that promoted good health), I expected she wouldn't know what I was talking about. But I was SHOCKED when her parents didn't! They asked me when it came out and I said in the 70s and early 80s. They looked at me and said "We weren't born back then!" (Not the kid-but the parents mind you! Next I'll be relating familiar time periods with the kids' GRANDPARENTS! Hehe!)
I guess I shouldn't be too surprised. The kid is a tween (10-12), and her parents are probably in their early 30s, which is more than a decade younger than I am. It's still kind of shocking to me though
"I don't know
I don't know which side I'm on
I don't know my right from left
Or my right from wrong
Say I'm a fool
You say I'm not for you
But if I'm a fool for you
Oh, that's something
Two hearts beat as one
Two hearts beat as one
Two hearts...
Can't stop the dance
Honey, this is my last chance
I said, can't stop the dance
Maybe this is my last chance
Two hearts beat as one
Two hearts beat as one
Two hearts...
They beat on black, beat on white
Beat on everything don't get it right
Beat on you, beat on me, beat on love
I don't know
How to say what's got to be said
I don't know if it's black or white
There's others see it red
I don't get the answers right
I'll leave that to you
Is this love out of fashion
Or is it the time of year
Are these words distraction
To the words you want to hear
Two hearts beat as one
Two hearts beat as one
I try to spit it out
I try to explain
The way I feel
Oh, yeah
Two hearts
I can't stop the dance
Maybe this is my last chance
I said I can't stop the dance
Maybe this is my last chance
I said don't stop the dance
Maybe this is my last chance
I said I can't stop the dance
Maybe this is our last chance
I said don't stop the dance
Maybe this is our last chance"

I know everyone has been dying to know. So I took a few pictures of the contents of my bag before I went to work. It doesn't have my keys or my cell phone because I hadn't left yet.
Love to know who is putting these up all around the city!
On my weekly work around our broken city to catch up on what is happening! Sunday May 27, 2012, Chirstchruch NZ.
The February 2011 Christchurch earthquake was a powerful natural event that severely damaged New Zealand's second-largest city, killing 185 people in one of the nation's deadliest peacetime disasters.
The magnitude 6.3 (ML) earthquake struck the Canterbury region in New Zealand's South Island at 12:51 pm on Tuesday, 22 February 2011 local time (23:51 21 February UTC). The earthquake was centred 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) west of the town of Lyttelton, and 10 kilometres (6 mi) south-east of the centre of Christchurch, New Zealand's second-most populous city. It followed nearly six months after the magnitude 7.1 Canterbury earthquake of 4 September 2010, which caused significant damage to Christchurch and the central Canterbury region, but no direct fatalities.
The earthquake caused widespread damage across Christchurch, especially in the central city and eastern suburbs, with damage exacerbated by buildings and infrastructure already being weakened by the 4 September 2010 earthquake and its aftershocks. Significant liquefaction affected the eastern suburbs, producing around 400,000 tonnes of silt. The earthquake was reported to be felt across the South Island and the lower and central North Island.
In total, 185 people were killed in the earthquake, making it the second-deadliest natural disaster recorded in New Zealand (after the 1931 Hawke's Bay earthquake), and fourth-deadliest disaster of any kind recorded in New Zealand, with nationals from more than 20 countries among the victims. Over half of the deaths occurred in the six-storey Canterbury Television (CTV) Building, which collapsed and caught fire in the quake. The government declared a state of national emergency, which stayed in force until 30 April 2011.
The total cost to insurers of rebuilding has been estimated at NZ$20–30 billion, making it by far New Zealand's costliest natural disaster, and the third-costliest earthquake (nominally) worldwide.
The earthquake has been the most damaging in a year-long earthquake swarm affecting the Christchurch area. It has been followed by a large aftershock on 13 June (which caused considerable additional damage) and a series of large shocks on 23 December 2011.
St Mary, Kettlebaston, Suffolk
I always look forward to coming back to Kettlebaston. It is likely that anyone who knows the churches of Suffolk well will have Kettlebaston among their favourites. The setting is delectable, in the remote Suffolk hills between Hadleigh and Stowmarket. The building is at once elegant and interesting, the interior stunning, but most fascinating of all, perhaps, is the story behind the way it is today.
In 1963, in the thirty-third year of his incumbency as Rector of the parish of Kettlebaston, Father Harold Clear Butler sent a letter to a friend. "You are right,"he wrote. "There is no congregation any more." In failing health, he relied on the family of a vicar who had retired nearby to carry out the ceremonies of Easter week that year. In 1964, Father Butler himself retired, and an extraordinary episode in the history of the Anglo-Catholic movement in Suffolk came to an end.
There may have been no congregation, but St Mary at Kettlebaston was a shrine, to which people made pilgrimages from all over England. Here was the liturgically highest of all Suffolk's Anglican churches, where Father Butler said the Roman Mass every day, celebrated High Mass and Benediction on Sunday, dispensed with churchwardens, flouted the authority of the Anglican diocese by tearing down state notices put up in the porch, refused to keep registers, and even, as an extreme, ignored the office of the local Archdeacon of Sudbury. An entry from the otherwise empty registers for October 2nd 1933 reads Visitation of Archdeacon of Sudbury. Abortive. Archdeacon, finding no churchwardens present, rode off on his High Horse!
Father Butler came to this parish when the Anglo-Catholic movement was at its height, and survived into a poorly old age as it retreated, leaving him high and dry. But not for one moment did he ever compromise.
Kettlebaston church is not just remote liturgically. You set off from the vicinity of Hadleigh, finding your way to the back of beyond at Brent Eleigh - and then beyond the back of beyond, up the winding roads that climb into the hills above Preston. Somewhere here, two narrow lanes head north. One will take you to Thorpe Morieux, and one to Kettlebaston, but I can never be sure which is which, or even if they are always in the same place. Finding your way to this, one of the most remote of all Suffolk villages, can be like finding your way into Narnia. Once in the village, you find the church surrounded by a high yew hedge, through which a passage conducts a path into the graveyard. On a buttress, a statue of the Coronation of the Queen of Heaven sits behind a grill. It is a copy of an alabaster found under the floorboards during the 1860s restoration. The original is now in the British Museum.
One Anglo-catholic tradition that has not been lost here is that the church should always be open, always be welcoming. You enter through the small porch, perhaps not fully prepared for the wonders that await. The nave you step into is light, clean and well-cared for. There is no coloured glass, no heavy benches, no tiles. The brick floor and simple wooden chairs seem as one with the air, a perfect foil for the rugged Norman font on its elegant legs. And then, the surprise of the rich view to the east, for the fixtures and fittings of the 20th Century Anglo-Catholic tradition survive here in all their splendour.
The two major features are the rood screen and the high altar. The rood screen is the work of several people, having been added to over the years by a roll-call of prominent Anglo-Catholic artists. It was designed by Ernest Geldart in the early 1900s. It was painted by Patrick Osborne in 1949, apart from the figures, which are the work of Enid Chadwick in 1954. They are: St Felix as a bishop holding a candle, St Thomas More in regalia, St Thomas of Canterbury with a sword through his mitre, St John Fisher as a bishop holding a book, St Alban in armour and St Fursey holding Burgh Castle.
To one side, the Sacred Heart altar bears the original stone mensa from the high altar. The table itself is the Stuart Communion table. To the other, a Lady altar. All of these are either gifts or rescued from redundant Anglo-Catholic churches elsewhere. The elegant grill in front of the rood loft stairs is by Ninian Comper.
Stepping through into the chancel is a reminder of how the clearance of clutter can improve a liturgical space. Here, the emptiness provides a perfect foil for the massive altar piece. The altar itself was the gift of Miss Eleanor Featonby Smith, consecrated by the Bishop of Madagascar in 1956, in one of those ceremonies conducted in the labyrinthine underworld of the Anglo-catholic movement. The altar sports what is colloquially referred to as the Big Six - the trademark six candlesticks of an Anglo-catholic parish. Behind them, the rich reredos is also by Ernest Geldart, and was also painted by Patrick Osborne.
At the west end of the nave is a display case holding facsimiles of the Kettlebaston alabasters, an oddly prosaic moment. But Kettlebaston's medieval past is not entirely rebooted, for the chancel was sensitively restored by Ernest Geldart in 1902 with none of the razzmatazz of his church at Little Braxted in Essex. The east window was rebuilt to the same design as the original, as was the roof. The late 13th Century piscina and sedilia are preserved, and on the north side of the chancel survives an impressive tomb recess of about the same date.
The sole memorial is to Joan, Lady Jermyn, who died in 1649. Her inscription, at the End of the English Civil War and the start of the ill-fated Commonwealth, is a fascinating example of the language of the time. Is it puritan in sympathy, or Anglican? Or simply a bizarre fruit of the ferment of ideas in that World Turned Upside Down? Within this dormitory lyes interred ye corpps of Johan Lady Jermy it begins, and continues whose arke after a passage of 87 yeares long through this deluge of teares... rested upon ye mount of joye. And then the verse:
Sleepe sweetly, Saint. Since thou wert gone
ther's not the least aspertion
to rake thine asshes: no defame
to veyle the lustre of thy name.
Like odorous tapers thy best sent
remains after extinguishment.
Stirr not these sacred asshes, let them rest
till union make both soule & body blest.
Above, the roofs drip with hanging paraffin lamps, the walls have their candle brackets, for this little church still has no electricity. You sense the attraction of Benediction on a late winter afternoon.
St Mary is loved and cared for by those who worship in it. There are rather more of them than in Father Butler's final days, but they are still a tiny, remote community. Since 1964, they have been part of a wider benefice, and must toe the Anglican mainstream line, as at Lound. But also, as at Lound, the relics of the Anglo-Catholic heyday here are preserved lovingly, and, judging by the visitors book, it is not just the regular worshippers who love it, for Anglo-Catholics from all over England still treat it as a goal of pilgrimage. I remember sitting in this church on a bright spring afternoon some twenty years ago. I'd been sitting for a while in near-silence, which was suddenly broken by the clunk of the door latch. Two elderly ladies came in. They smiled, genuflected towards the east, and greeted me. Together, they went to the Sacred Heart altar, put a bunch of violets in a vase on it, and knelt before it. The silence continued, now with a counterpoint of birdsong from the churchyard through the open door. Then they stood, made the sign of the cross, and went out again. Father Butler looked on and smiled, I'm sure.
i know i already used this picture here but i like it a lot on its own. plus i've been stuck doing stuff for school all day and i don't have time to play with ringo today :( it's memorial day and beautiful outside but i've barely had time to breath because i had so many things to do today.
i've been thinking a lot about charlie in the book and how much i can relate to him. i remember my first day of high school freshmen year. i was terrified beyond belief. i remember my aunt carla walking me all the way inside and insisting on taking pictures every two seconds and me being completely mortified. i remember carrying all of my books that weighed a gazillion pounds upstairs to my locker and feeling totally and completely out of place and alone. i remember being shoved around by the upper classmen and mentally counting the days until graduation in four long years. i remember telling myself that it wouldn't stay like this forever and soon i would love high school just like everyone else seemed to do. i remember looking at myself long and hard in the mirror and trying to figure out who i was, who i was meant to be. that was almost three years ago and i still have no clue who i am or where i belong. i'm about to finish my junior year and i still find myself looking in the mirror and seeing that scared girl who listened to Yiruma in the morning to fight off anxiety attacks before school and panic at the disco at night to get her through the hours of homework that never seemed to end. and sometimes when i walk in the hallway in between classes and i get shoved by the boys in my class who goof off and can never seem to grow up, i feel just as alone as that little 15 year old felt all those years ago when she had to brave her first days of high school with no one by her side. and then i mentally start playing "river flows in you" by Yiruma in my head to calm myself down and try to force myself to believe everyone when they say it will be worth it in the end, even though i know it won't.

River Flows In You - Yiruma
Friday, 23 September 2022: just a quick note added to let you know that I'm still out of commission at the moment, thanks to a trip and fall on my hairdresser's driveway after a haircut on Monday afternoon! Tripped over a crack/join in the concrete and fell flat on my face, grrr. Broke my nose, messed up my mouth/lips. hurt my knees, knuckles, and my right side is in agony with major swelling and bruising. My right arm (deltoid muscle) is usually in pain but now almost useless. Was at a Health Centre first - had to take a cab as my nose was bleeding, felt a bit nauseous and came out in a cold sweat. Was eventually taken by ambulance to the South Campus Hospital and thoroughly checked out, including a Cat-Scan and a string of X-rays on chest and right shoulder. Thank goodness, there was no bleeding seen in my brain! X-rays didn't seem to show any breaks, apparently. Returned home eventually after 18 hours. Well, at least I managed to get in about three drives between being ill with a raging tooth/jaw infection plus a very complicated root canal on the tooth after a course of antibiotics, that wasted a month, and this new accident, ha. Hope I can post a few photos, but I know all too well that mouse clicking kills my upper arms, so I will need a lot of self-discipline, lol. Can still look at everyone's photos, of course. Note: today is day 11 after my accident. Can't say there is all that much difference yet, sigh. It will take a few weeks, I know.
Back to posting a few more photos taken on 4 September 2022, when I took my daughter for a long drive south to the Alberta Birds of Prey Centre.
Normally, I would never be driving all the way south to Coaldale twice in one month, or even one year : ) However, when I first drove down there on 24 August 2022, I didn't think my daughter would be free to go with me in time before the Alberta Birds of Prey Centre closed for the season, till April 2023. So, I made a last minute decision to drive there anyway. The other day, my daughter told me that she was going to have a free day on 4 September 2022. I told her to let me know where she would like to go for the day and she reckoned we should go down to the Centre. I was so pleased about this, as she had never been there before and I was sure she would enjoy herself (despite the heat!).
We managed a fairly early start (which, for me, was a very early start!), leaving Calgary around 8:00 am. For the first time, we had a smoky day. A very quick stop at Frank Lake gave us a wide open view of the smoky sun surrounded by a bright orange sky, as well as a chance to look for any insects on the Maximillan Sunflowers.
Because of the long distance, plus my need to get back to the city before the light started to fade, our drive was pretty much limited to fast highway driving, apart from one gravel back road on the way south.
Most of the journey, one thing that stood out was that there were SO many hawks! I didn't see every single hawk, as I like to keep my eye on the road. My daughter reckoned that there were at least 100 seen, with which I agree, some on fence posts, others perched on tall utility poles, and some flying high over the harvested fields. Never have I ever seen so many hawks in one day. It was crazy.
Once we got to the Centre, we of course saw yet more hawks. Plus various owl species and Bald Eagles at various stages of development. I was so glad that my daughter got to experience having a cute young Burrowing Owl (named Sage) standing on her arm, and then a juvenile Great Horned Owl. As usual, I took plenty of photos, which I then couldn't identify when I got home. My ID skills for raptors is not good!
This was such an enjoyable day, despite the heat and long distance. Just like my previous solo drive down south, it was just under 500 km. The rare outing with my daughter is my favourite way of spending a day!
Short of the "Great Gallery" in Horseshoe Canyon, I'm hard pressed to think of a more impressive and extensive Barrier Canyon style panel than Buckhorn Wash -- this is only one sub-panel. Buckhorn Wash is easily accessible too (I think it's about 20 miles from I-70, and right at the side of the road). This panel had been vandalized for decades and was restored, but as you can see here the restoration was wearing off and the graffiti (historic and otherwise) was starting to show through. I understand that the conservator has since returned to touch it up.
Did you know Josephine Baker bought and renovated Chateau des Milandesin the Dordogne? She left her mark on the chateau where 14 of her rooms are now on show. The interior is now restored and maintained in the 1930's style in which Josephine Baker decorated it. Among the displays is her notorious dress made from bananas which she wore at the 'Folies Bergère' in 1928 and stage outfits that she wore at 'Olympia' and the 'Casino de Paris'. You can also hear some recordings of her singing as you tour the chateau. In addition, there are exhibitions and displays commemorating the life of Josephine, which started in the back street clubs of New York, and progressed to France where she was very well received and where she played a significant role in the resistance during History Francois de Caumont, owner of castle Castelnaud, had the chateau des Milandes built in the 15th century for his young wife, who found Castelnaud rather cold and unwelcoming. It is a fine example of Renaissance architecture, with attractive stonework and period features. Chateau des Milandes fell into ruin after the French Revolution but was famously restored by the legendary music hall star Josephine Baker - unusually among Dordogne chateau, the most famous era in its history is the 20th century. Exploring Chateau des Milandes The chateau is one of the prettier of the chateaux in this area, and is surrounded by attractive gardens. The exterior of the chateau has everything - turrets, pointy roofs, mullioned windows, stained glass windows, gargoyles - but it is all put together in a beautifully harmonious way. World War 2 Art deco was the prominant style at the time of Josephine Baker's restoration of the chateau and one of the highlights is the art deco bathrooms, another the ornately decorated art-deco bedrooms. Sadly, debts forced Josephine Baker to sell the chateau later on, but it is pleasing now that the chateau should be a tribute to Josephine and her action-packed life. Falconry was an integral part of life in the Middle-Ages and during April to October there is a falconry display at the Chateau des Milandes. There is also a restaurant selling snacks and simple meals. Most of the chateaux in the Dordogne would be cold, draughty and decidedly uncomfortable to live in - this one would be an absolute joy. It really is lovely. Josephine Baker Josephine started life in a poor family in Missouri, USA. She found work as a dresser in a theatre company and one evening stood in for one of the dancers. At the age of 14 her acting career began. She was spotted by Caroline Dudley who was looking for black artists to star in a new Paris revue. The Revue Negre played at the Theatre des Champs Elysées and Josephine became a star whilst dancing nearly naked. In 1930 Josephine added singing to her career. She became very wealthy and very generous and donated widely to charities. During the war Josephine used her ability to travel freely as an entertainer to smuggle out secret documents and she also helped refugees to leave France. She was decorated with the French Legion medal for her bravery. In 1947 Josephine bought Chateau des Milandes and renovated it. She began her famous 'rainbow tribe' adopting children from different nationalities and religions. However Josephine's generosity and naivety led to bankruptcy and she had to sell the castle. Chateau des MilandesFalconry and Birds of Prey Show Les Milandes puts on a show with birds of prey each day. This includes falcons, hawks, owls and a white-headed fish eagle and allows you to see these magnificent birds in action. As well as watching the show you can see the birds in the bird houses built for them in the grounds. The bird show lasts about half an hour and takes place between once and four times during the day depending on the season. The Chateau de Milandes Opening Hours April to May: 10.00-18.30, every day June to July 10, and September: 10.00-19.00, every day July 11 to Augus 31: 09.30-19.30, every day October 1 to November 3: 10.00-18.15, every day Prices are 9€ for adults and 5.80€ for children There is a very nice looking bistro-style restaurant on the property too. Places to Visit near to Chateau des Milandes The wonderful Chateau de Castelnaud is very close by. This is a big contrast to Chateau Milandes as it has been built for defensive purposes and now has some excellent displays of medieval weaponry. If you are still in the mood for castles the impressive Chateau de Beynac is also nearby. The villages of Castelnaud and Beynac are both classed amongst the most beautiful villages of France giving you even more reason to visit them. ift.tt/1e9kgug ift.tt/1e9kgui #josephinebaker
Leonardo. Donatello, Raphael. Michelangelo. Four of the world's most renowned Renaissance painters, and four brothers destined to stop the Foot Clan. I am, of course, speaking of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT).
I know there is a darker comic series, but the Turtles that captured my imagination back in the late 80s was the animated series on television. From all accounts, the Turtles had been changed from single focused killing machines to four characters with very distinct personalities, and coloured face masks so we could tell them apart. Everyone had a favourite Turtle - mine was Michaelanglo, mostly because I was obsessed with Nunchucks at the time, though in time I've learned to appreciate each of the brother for their various personality traits. Except Leo.. boring, boring Leo. Always my last choice when came to the Arcade Game, but of course his ability to out fight the rest of them was never really played out in the show that much.
In the last few years, NECA obtained the license from Nickelodeon to make TMNT product. It started with the quarter scale 90s movie turtles, then moved on to these - 6 inch sized figures based on their 80s animation looks, sold exclusively at Target in the US. Of course, people hoarded these things, and tried to scalp them to fans around the world. It worked.. for a while, until in 2019 when some sort of licensing agreement was hashed out that allowed NECA to FINALLY sell their Nickelodeon TMNT stuff outside the US directly. Being a TMNT fan, and having heard so much about these things, it was time I finally purchased some and saw for myself what all the hype was about.
The Turtles come, evilly, sold in two packs, though not with a Brother from Another Mother (BAM). No - you see, these sets were based on the SDCC exclusive 8 pack sold in ... I want to say in 2017, which featured the brothers, Krang, Shredder, and two Foot Soldiers. Leo was sold with Shredder, Donatello with Krang, and the other two with Foot Soldiers, all at a MSRP of $50 USD per set. Me, being the cheap bastard that I am, made an executive decision that I could live without Raph for that price, because, well.. Foot Soldier.
So over the past week or so, I've been diligently plucking away at these sets, snapping pictures and having all sorts of fever dreams that I put into action figure form. Without further ado, we start this trip down into the sewers with the Donatello set because I really, really wanted to open Krang up.
As stated above, the figures come in two pack, with the real unique part of each set being the villain (unless you're Mikey or Raph), so lets talk about the common parts first. Each Turtle comes with their trademark weapon, one extra pair of hands for posing or something (I say that because honestly it seems random because they don't always seem to work with what's included), and accessories that some seem, again, kind of random to me - they range from things that really make sense (Mikey has a spinning Nunchuck effect and grappling hook), to I think Leo and Donnie have closed communicators but Mikey and Donnie having open communicators), to a slice of pizza with Raph. Like I said, completely random, it feels, mostly due to the fact these were again ripped from a larger box set. The parts are interchangeable, of course, and with enough experimenting you'll eventually find a combo that works.
The Turtles are more of an olive green in complexion as opposed to the bright green of their 80s cartoon counterparts - not a bad thing, just different. Like with many of their more recent offerings, NECA has also given the Turtles (and everyone else, of course) cartoon shading in that parts in shadow are a tone or two darker than their base colours. It can look weird if the parts aren't aligned properly (mainly their arms and legs) but the effort is much appreciated. Another nice things is that all the characters have major details filled in with black, just like in a cartoon, which helps them pop whether it be in person, or in photographic form. Each Turtle varies slightly visually with the face mask, the emblem on their belt, and facial expression - also, it's should be mentioned that Donnie and Leo feature a holster on their belt for their weapon, but I didn't see one on Mikey and I don't think there's one on Raph either.
Sculpting on the Turtles is very good, with strong detailing of the muscles and the shell itself. Also, NECA seems to be one of the companies that gets how to turn in a good 3D TMNT head, because I've seen some real trainwrecks in the past, and the overall QC seems to be very strong, price point aside, though some of the black detailing can be a bit messy (see Donnie's staff), and I did need to get a replacement Mikey due to some shoddy glue work on the mask. Paint apps on the non weapon accessories are actually impressively sharp, given the size the painters had to work with. Materials used in production are pretty much what I expected, having the same feel as the plastics used in the more recent Transformers line.
The articulation on the Turtles isn't bad - I'm not sure if this is NECA standard, as this is the first time I've picked up a NECA product. We have ankles, double jointed knees, hips, waist, shoulders, bicep swivel, elbows, wrists, neck, and head. Ankles are strangely limited in that you can't really get the Turtles to stand in a wider stance, but the feet will freely move otherwise. Shoulders do not feature any chest collapse, and overall articulation is hindered by the fact that you've got a big, bulky shell to deal with. Waist is given some freedom to move due to the use of a softer rubber part for the abdominal piece itself. I found the hips to be a bit loose, which can be further aggravated by the fact that understandably, the figures are top heavy. Overall, not bad, but you're clearly not getting any crazy ninja poses with the boys.
Krang.. well where do I begin. He is awesome.
Krang comes with well.. Krang, the small pedestal he's seen using prior to the introduction of his android body (which sadly isn't in this set), and a robot walker suit featuring an opening plastic canopy that I don't remember being used per se, but it's not like he went android body less for long in the show anyway. There isn't much articulation to speak of, mainly just the tendrils and the walker feet. The tendrils are removed from the body, and plugged into the walker, with the main body put into the cockpit itself, completing the look.
Detailing on this guy is fantastic, especially Krang himself, all blobby and vein covered. All this detailing is coupled with a very solid set of paint apps, just like on the Turtles, with the use of blacks and other darker colours for the purposes of highlighting details and creating the sense of depth. Paint a bit thick, specifically the pink itself, but Krang is a pulsating blob so I'll give this a pass. Krang is sculpted with his trademark stare and sneer - seriously, just looking at pics should invoke that cackle of his, or perhaps his whining to Shredder about the lack of progress. There have been some pretty good Turtle figures over the years, but this is by far the best Krang toy I can recall, next to that Megabloks set a few years back which featured all four Turtles and Krang in android body. This is one of those figures that even had they sold him in a pack by himself, I would have bought because he's just that good.
PHEW! So that ends this quick overview of the Donnie/Krang set, though I guess its more of a TMNT/Krang overview. Naturally, there's more to come as there would be way too much to cram into one exposition, so stay tuned!
You know you spend too much time on the road when you get off the plane at O'Hare and say, "Ah, I'm home" when you still have an hour and a half until you actually GET home. I was in New York and New Jersey this week and was SCHEDULED to fly in last night (Thursday). But unfortunately, the snow at O'Hare cancelled TWO different flights on me. By the time the second one cancelled, it was 10pm in Newark and too late for me to find a hotel room. So I experienced a new thing - spending the night in an airport! In Newark, no less! Luckily the airport Burger King was open all night. Anyway, when I finally got off the plane this morning, I saw these decorations in the American Airlines terminal at O'Hare. They kind of warmed the cockles of this curmudgeon's heart and I wanted to share it with all of you. Merry Christmas!

Yemen is affected by several conflicts that in recent months have had grave humanitarian consequences for its population. Interest in the country has risen dramatically in the U.S law and policy community, due to the presence of Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula on Yemeni territory.
In the southern port city of Aden and in nearby provinces, the Yemeni government is fighting Al Hirak, a secessionist movement and Ansar Al Sharia, a group affiliated with Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula. Violence is rife and military operations are ongoing. Casualties are reported almost daily. Thousands of civilians have been displaced by the fighting.
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), a neutral, independent and impartial humanitarian organization with global reach, has significant protection and assistance programs in Yemen, one of its largest operations. It has been active in the country since 1962.
Today, the ICRC in Aden assists over 300,000 civilians affected by violence in south Yemen alone and does so by actively engaging with all parties in what is an exceptionally complex and challenging operational environment. In accordance with the mandate given to it by the community of states, the organization has also carried out repeated visits to detainees held by Ansar Al Sharia to monitor their treatment and their conditions of detention.
Underscoring the dangers of humanitarian action in that context, Hussein Saleh, the ICRC staff member portrayed in I Know Where I’m Going, was tragically killed by shrapnel from an airstrike while working for the ICRC in Abyan, south Yemen, in June 2012. I Know Where I’m Going was nearing completion when he died. The movie is now a tribute to this extraordinary humanitarian.
Hussein Saleh worked for the ICRC in Aden. His family background and reputation meant that he was highly respected by many influential actors in the region and could personally engage with all armed groups and a number of community leaders throughout south Yemen. His work ensured that the ICRC’s core principles of neutrality, independence and impartiality were understood and that all parties welcomed the organization and allowed it to work safely.
I Know Where I’m Going follows Mr. Saleh, who was born and raised in southern Yemen, as he networks and visits with the Yemeni government and the leaders of the armed groups that control large swath of territory. It captures Mr. Saleh and the ICRC Aden team as they prepare for the first visit ever to detainees held by a Jihadist group, a significant operational milestone for the organization in the country and globally.
Mr. Saleh’s efforts were critical to the protection and assistance operations of ICRC Aden. Working closely with his colleagues, he made significant contributions to the development of a neutral and impartial humanitarian operation in this volatile and dangerous region.
Mr. Saleh was born in 1977. He died on June 20, 2012 in his native Abyan Province. He is survived by four young children and a wife who is pregnant.

No equality - Nellie McKay
There's no equality here
There's no equality anywhere
And every fear you can face
Is quickly replaced
By one you can't loose
It's an illusion
That's never meant to occur
Won't happen to her
Won't happen to you
And you let me down slowly
Let me down slow and you turn me around
Let me down easy
Let yourself go, now you're going to town
Baby, baby, can't you see
What this hypocrisy is doing to me
We should’ve kicked over the ladder from the start
You used to be my lover
You used to be my soul soul brother
I used to believe
That you could conceive
Conceive of my love
But you let me down slowly
You let me down slow and you turn me around
Let me down easy
Let yourself go, now you're going to town
Baby, baby, can't you see
What this absurdity is doing to me
We should’ve kicked over the ladder from the start
There’s no equality
Nobody knows the trouble I’ve seen
No one supposes just how mean I can be
I play the victim, but I’m really a cad
And all I’ve ever wanted ‘s everything I’m gonna have
There’s no equality here
There’s no equality on Earth I fear
There are so many (incomprehensible)
It’s me or it’s you
That’s why I let you down slowly
Let you down slow and I turn you around
Let you down easy
Let myself go, now we’re both set to drown
No equality presented by Nellie McKay this song show the plot of story, that people get indignant about inequality in Council of Vocations, and the Council of Scholars. They view any inequalities, whether in educational attainment, as a sign of injustice. Because they are all different, inequalities are the natural result of living in a free society. This song connects to the people in the story they had no concept of individuality, they could not have individual names, only had the number. The patterned the numbering like telephone numbers. They try to hide their intelligence, or they will be punished more than anyone else.
Freewill - Rush
There are those who think that life is nothing left to chance,
A host of holy horrors to direct our aimless dance.
A planet of playthings,
We dance on the strings
Of powers we cannot perceive.
"The stars aren't aligned
Or the gods are malign"-
Blame is better to give than receive.
You can choose a ready guide in some celestial voice.
If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.
You can choose from phantom fears and kindness that can kill;
I will choose a path that's clear-
I will choose Free Will.
There are those who think that they were dealt a losing hand,
The cards were stacked against them- they weren't born in lotus-land.
All preordained-
A prisoner in chains-
A victim of venomous fate.
Kicked in the face,
You can't pray for a place
In heaven's unearthly estate.
You can choose a ready guide in some celestial voice.
If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.
You can choose from phantom fears and kindness that can kill;
I will choose a path that's clear-
I will choose Free Will.
Freewill presented by Rush, the song shows the plot in the story is about freewill and belief of freedom of choice not fate. Some people believe that things happen for a reason that are out of their control like puppets. They believe that everything is controlled by fate. He believes that he can make his own choices and thinks about the possible uses of his discovery. He decides that he must present his light to the World Council of Scholars. Others who can join him in a society based on individual freedom. And one day, they will fight to free all those enslaved by collectivism.
Heart - These Heart
Spare a little candle
Save some light for me
Figures up ahead
Moving in the trees
White skin in linen
Perfume on my wrist
And the full moon that hangs over
These dreams in the mist
Darkness on the edge
Shadows where I stand
I search for the time
On a watch with no hands
I want to see you clearly
Come closer than this
But all I remember
Are the dreams in the mist
These dreams go on when I close my eyes
Every second of the night I live another life
These dreams that sleep when it's cold outside
Every moment I'm awake the further I'm away
Is it cloak n dagger
Could it be spring or fall
I walk without a cut
Through a stained glass wall
Weaker in my eyesight
The candle in my grip
And words that have no form
Are falling from my lips
These dreams go on when I close my eyes
Every second of the night I live another life
These dreams that sleep when it's cold outside
Every moment I'm awake the further I'm away
There's something out there
I can't resist
I need to hide away from the pain
There's something out there
I can't resist
The sweetest song is silence
That I've ever heard
Funny how your feet
In dreams never touch the earth
In a wood full of princes
Freedom is a kiss
But the prince hides his face
From dreams in the mist
These dreams go on when I close my eyes
Every second of the night I live another life
These dreams that sleep when it's cold outside
Every moment I'm awake the further I'm away
These dreams go on when I close my eyes
Every second of the night I live another life
These dreams that sleep when it's cold outside
Every moment I'm awake the further I'm away
Heart presented by These Dream shows the theme of Anthem. It is tells about "every second of the night, I live another life." He want hides away from the pain, but it is unclear whether he wants to live in the dream world to hide away from the pain of the real world, or wants to go back to the real world to hide from the pain of the dream world. This song continues to the mood of Anthem when he is assigned to a menial job cleaning the streets, Equality 7-2521 rebels against collectivism by conducting secret scientific research, which eventually leads him to re-create electric light.
Give a Little Love - Aswad
Living in this crazy world, so caught up in the confusion
Nothing is-a making sense for me and you
But maybe if we find a way, there is got to be the solution
How to make a brighter day? What do we do?
We've got to give a little love, have a little hope
Let's make this world a little better
Try a little more, harder than before
Let's do what we can do together
Only we can make it better...
Only if we try...
Got the words on our minds, got the troubles on our shoulders
Sometimes it just seems so much what we go through
But maybe if we take the time, time to understand each other
We can learn to make it right. What do we do?
We've got to give a little love, have a little hope
Let's make this world a little better
Try a little more, harder than before
Let's do what we can do together
Only we can make it better...
Only if we try...
Only we can make it better...
Only if we try...
If everybody took somebody by the hand
Then maybe everyone could learn to love and understand
Give a little love...
Give a little love...
Give a little love...
Give a little love...
Give A Little Love present by Aswad shows the mood of the story. This song connects with the part in the story when he is noticed there by his love, a girl called Liberty 5-3000. They come across an ancient house, a relic of the Unmentionable times. There they rediscover the lost language of the self. They rename themselves Prometheus and Gaea, and Prometheus vows to use his new knowledge to build a society based on individual freedom.
Electric Light Orchestra – Livin' Thing
Sailin' away on the crest of a wave
It's like magic
Rollin' and ridin' and slippin' & slidin'
It's magic
And you, and your sweet desire,
You took me, higher and higher
It's a livin' thing,
It's a terrible thing to lose
It's a given thing
What a terrible thing to lose
Making believe this is what you conceived
From your worst day,
Moving in line then you look back in time
To your first day
Takin' a dive 'cos you can't halt the slide
Floating downstream,
So let her go don't start spoiling the show
It's a bad dream.
Electric Light Orchestra present by Livin' Thing that song show the plot of the story. In carrying out experiments in the underground tunnel, Equality 7-2521 has discovered the power of electricity. He first stumbled on it accidentally two years ago, while the use of copper wires hanging from the tunnel to the frog for biological experiments. He made the main object of his experiments. The knowledge he learned afraid because he can be punished discovered secrets unknown to the Council of Scholars. Finally He re-create electric light.

The Golden Ratio informs a lot of my art and photographic composition. The Golden Ratio also informs the design of the golden revolver on all the swimsuits and lingerie, as well as the 45surf logo! Not so long ago, I came up with the Golden Ratio Principle which describes why The Golden Ratio is so beautiful.
The Golden Number Ratio Principle: Dr. E’s Golden Ratio Principle: The golden ratio exalts beauty because the number is a characteristic of the mathematically and physically most efficient manners of growth and distribution, on both evolutionary and purely physical levels. The golden ratio ensures that the proportions and structure of that which came before provide the proportions and structure of that which comes after. Robust, ordered growth is naturally associated with health and beauty, and thus we evolved to perceive the golden ratio harmonies as inherently beautiful, as we saw and felt their presence in all vital growth and life—in the salient features and proportions of humans and nature alike, from the distribution of our facial features and bones to the arrangements of petals, leaves, and sunflowers seeds. As ratios between Fibonacci Numbers offer the closest whole-number approximations to the golden ratio, and as seeds, cells, leaves, bones, and other physical entities appear in whole numbers, the Fibonacci Numbers oft appear in nature’s elements as “growth’s numbers.” From the dawn of time, humanity sought to salute their gods in art and temples exalting the same proportion by which all their vital sustenance and they themselves had been created—the golden ratio.

As you know a new respiratory disease called COVID-19 is spreading across the world. India has also reported cases from states and the Government is trying to contain the spread of the disease. As on 27 March 2020, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has confirmed a total of 724 cases and 17 deaths in the country.

Your donations will support the fight against the spread of the virus, keeping Doctors, healthcare workers safe and our communities even safer.
