Work gets done quickly - at a friends house.

I shared a delicious coffee in Lisbon a few years ago with Anna de Sobral. Formerly of Google Plus. She said the still lifes sometimes recalled the farmhouse kitchen of her late grandmother in rural Portugal. (Presumably not those featuring bottles of Jack Daniels but you never know...) I found it quite inspiring.

It may not be the most appropriate to choose a woolly hat in May but here it is - a mini-hat egg warmer placed in a nest of muffin cases. Here is how the mini-hat looks like. :) For Macro Mondays group - the Kitchen.

This was the kitchen at the apartment we rented in Pacific Heights. It was small and narrow but very modern and cozy. I especially liked the frosted glass cupboards and the fridge built into the wall was really neat....
