I looked at this vw based "Maserati birdcage" to buy about 7 years ago, glad I didn't.

Two of the five kits engaging in a little horse play.

This was one of the behaviors that I was interested in seeing along with transitioning to solid foods and I was happy to be able to see both!

I made this sundress from an old skirt that didn't fit anyone. :) It was really easy.

I've had this kit since...about a week after its release? Slow Tilly is slow.

It still needs further detailing, some cap (and cockpit?) recoloring, and a bit of a dusting, but it's complete buildwise and the chrome paws are now the right color.

"We don't do reenactments - this is how we live," he told me. He has lived in teepees for years, though the one he had set up here was a Plains variety, not like the local Miwok. His group (about 20) teach about at the early years of California's white exploration and settlement, and they were at the fair to recruit a new generation of enthusiasts.

Completed my Adafruit MiniPOV3 tonight. I was able to upload sample code to it, but I'm having an issue with avr-gcc so I can't compile my own yet.

I visited the den today and was excited to find out that there are six kits not 5! There are two cottages that they have been denning under and there are a lot of trees and bushes so it is often hard to see how many kits there are! Today she nursed them and I counted 6. The kits are getting bigger and are often wondering off on their own and exploring the environment around them! I also got a glimpse of papa fox but he is a bit shy! I read that the male gray fox helps supply food for the family but he actually does not stay in the den with them!

What you don't see is the persistence and preparation. Usually that's what wildlife photography comes down to. Over the last two years my wife and I have walked from our house to a local fox den more than 100 times. She walks every day, so she's probably been closer to 200 times. We go each Spring to see if the mom or kits are out. Sometimes we'll catch them playing in the grass. Other times we'll get a glimpse of them in the woods. Most of the time we don't see them or they spook quickly. I got a break recently and ran into this kit on the edge of the woods. The kit was quite curious and allowed me to hang out for about 30 minutes while it alternated between hunting and playing. Hoping I will have a few more to share as I go through my pics. It was so rewarding to see my efforts pay off.

Temari balls are a folk art form, originally from China and introduced to Japan around the 7th century. Temari means “hand ball” and they can be used for hand ball games, or simply as a decoration.

I became fascinated with them so Rod gave me a kit for Christmas, to make two. This is the start of the second one I tried, the more difficult design of the two. It’s now done and I’m really quite pleased with how it turned out.

HBW!

...when the meal is done, bones became a play thing. From earlier in the spring...hope these adorable foxes fended well for themselves as they began to explore the world around their den. Nikon D850 and Nikon 200 to 500mm lens.
