A stationery kit with a focus on the stamps which seem to fit on pencils... most Japanese pencils do not have built-in erasers (hence why there is so many very cute/kawaii erasers, including the flowers in this kit), so that leaves the tops of the pencils open to all kinds of toppers and other uses such as here.
The red ink pad is still moist even.
There is also a couple sheets of tiny seals/stickers, presumedly to use with the small note sheets on the right side of the case.
The design for the top of this box is Eternal Sailor Moon and is shown in the previous photo in my stream.

Two days after seeing the Air Ambulance in Streatham Hill (where they attended to an elderly woman who was struck by a bus) I heard quite a racket, looked out the window and saw the same helicopter passing over and flare to land on our common! I pulled on some trousers (I was looking forward to a day in my pj's), grabbed my kit and ran out the door.
The chopper had only just landed but it seemed most of the neighbourhood had the same idea and soon quite a festival atmosphere had sprung up. On one hand there were police everywhere and sirens wailing as there had been some kind of accident in the Hyde Farm Estate. On the other, the pilots were chatting with locals, letting kids sit inside the passenger bay and everyone wanted to pose next to the helicopter.
After grabbing a few shots of the commotion, I took a roundabout route around the cordoned off streets to see what had brought about the visit. I eventually came to the street where the ambulances were. I was pretty far off and couldn't see much, but as I snapped a shot of the scene a policeman shouted 'No photos.' Now, I know that I have every right to take photos and that the policeman couldn't actually prevent me, but after I asked "How come?" (when did I get so back chatty?) he responded "It's a fatal accident" and his partner said something about 'dignity'. I left it at that and returned to the common. There's rights and then there's being an arse.
It was still carnival time at the common, but it was very odd knowing that it had been a fruitless journey for the emergency team and that someone from my community had lost their life moments before. The air ambulance's medical crew soon returned and after a chat with the local paramedic teams, it was time to take-off. The festival was over.
Kit was left when his family moved and he adopted us. He lives at my office and all the Poodles love him! Notice the tails looks like they are wagging together! :~))

"Kit Carson, namesake of the famous western scout, guide, trapper and Indian fighter, was founded on the Eastern Plains in 1838. In 1872 Kit Carson developed into a booming commercial center. The ideal location of Kit Carson encouraged the development of trade and supply outposts, providing the opportunity for stage companies and trading outfits to prosper. The town of Kit Carson had two locations. The original site was located near the site where Kit Carson traded with the Arapahoe and Cheyenne Indians. The present site was determined by the arrival of the railroad. Destroyed by fire three times, twice by the torchesof Indians and once by carousing cowboys, the determined citizens of the town showed their desire to survive by rebuilding. Kit Carson was the railroad terminus for the Union Pacific, and because of this fact, many opportunities became available to the future citizens of the town. The building of the railroad encouraged farmers and ranchers to settle in the area. The railroad made Kit Carson an important shipping point for cattle in the 1870's because of the connecting route to LaJunta. In fact Kit Carson became one of the largest cattle shipping points between Denver and Kansas City. The railroad brought in foreign dignitaries, such as the Grand Duke Alexis of Russia. The Grand Duke hunted in Kit Carson and was accompanied by his military escort, General George Armstrong Custer on January 20, 1872. Later Kit Carson was visited by Teddy Roosevelt as well. Painting and markings:
I used the Macedonian Su-25s as design benchmark, and the choice for this operator was slightly supported by the fact that I had decals for all four Frogfoot in store from a Balkan Models decal sheet. The corresponding information sheet also provided inspiration for the scheme (every aircraft was different) and the respective colors, even though I rather relied on pictures of the aircraft than model paint suggestions.
Defining the colors was not easy, since all Macedonian Su-25 look VERY weathered on any picture I could find, just around the nose sections some of the original tones can be guesstimated. Using this information, plus experience with Soviet/Russian tactical aircraft cammo and pictures of more modern Macedonian equipment (e. g. Mi-24s in a very stylish wrap-around splinter scheme) I eventually settled on the following five tones as basic colors:
- Humbrol 168 (RAF Hemp)
- Humbrol 98 (Chocolate Brown)
- Humbrol 150 (Forest Green)
- Humbrol 195 (RAL 6020 Dunkelgrün)
- Humbrol 115 (Russian Underside Blue)
With the irregular, patchy pattern, the Zlin's outlines blur well. After a light black ink wash some weathering on the upper surfaces was done, for a sun-bleached look.
As mentioned above, markings come primarily from a Su-25 Balkan Models decal sheet. The tactical code was puzzled together from single black digits (TL Modellbau, 4mm size), though, and "MAF" was added in the same typeface on the fuselage flanks, inspired by contenmporary Macedonian helicopters. Some stencils were taken from the Hobby Boss OOB sheet.
Disaster struck, though, when I sealed the kit with matt acrylic varnish from Revell. I should have stuck to the Italeri product from the start, and had to pay my carelessness with milky shadows all over the kit. I tried to rub the stuff away with alcohol thinner, but many stains remained and I had to make a lot of repairs and new shadings, so that the final result seen in the beauty pics is not as crisp as I hoped it to be. Anyway, work was quickly done, thanks to the kit's small size, and the decals were not damaged at all during the whole post-treatment. Whew!
