Local celebrity and star of the "Heartland Series", Bill Landry played Atticus Finch in the local production.
Here Atticus addresses the untrue story of Mayella Ewell (Jessica St. James).
Judge Taylor is played by local Bill Farnham.

Open to the Public!
INVITE ALL YOUR FRIENDS so we can stretch across the entire public square!
ATTENTION MUST BE PAID TO THE POWER OF OUR LOVE!
We are NOT threatening
We are NOT scary
We are NOT shameful
And HATE speech is a DIRECT CAUSE of suicide and violence within our community
DETAILS OF ACTION:

- If you are single (like so many of us!) come join! We will be pairing-up single strangers to hold hands!
- We will line-up the couples in a diagonal line with gaps between each couple
- This will "force" the tourist traffic to walk directly through the line to get to the other side

- Following the action, participants are encouraged to scrawl messages of love in chalk on the sidewalk/street
WHAT TO BRING:
- Participants are encouraged to bring signs with their own messages of LOVE (trying best to be informative and positive)

I have no idea, nor about Ethel in the grave behind.
I just thought it was a good twilight sky for a wander in the graveyard, and this is what I found.

Saratoga Comic Con was the first place I ever tried cosplay photography in May 2017. Now it's November 2017 and I feel like I've made tons of improvements!
Using an 85mm f1.8 also really helped me get the look I was always after.
I wanna shout out Chris M for being my lighting assistant, check him out here:
And I wanna shout out Mikhail Davydov, whose work I've used as the north star as I've wandered my way through learning cosplay photography:

We saw a leopard kill a baby wart hog. This photo was taken the following morning after the big cat had eaten half of the piglet. She left the kill in the tree all night to keep it from the hyena (who showed up before the hog was even dead).

An off-topic, yet somewhat still relevant fact - I always wondered why so many places in the North Jersey and a large part of Upstate New York have the word "Kill" in so many of the place's names. I learned that the word "kill" is old Dutch for "creek" or "river"; which makes sense - "Fishkill", "Wallkill", "Peter's Kill", "Verkeerder Kill", etc.
This lion kill was amazing to watch. It took a half an hour from the time the lioness spotted the zebra, to the time she actually made the kill. She was amazingly patient as the zebra wandered farther and farther from her group. The lioness laid in wait until the zebra was very close. The wind was in her favor. The chase was short, and within about 5 seconds, the zebra was down. The lioness crushed the windpipe of the zebra, and it was over very quickly. After the kill, the lioness dragged the dead zebra about 1/4 of a mile, to hide it under a tree, where she called her family to join her.
